Not sure if this is good or bad, so I'll say average.

Score: 1580

Planets/areas: Corneria: 184, Sector Y: 182, Aquas: 164, Zoness: 267, MacBeth: 171, Area 6: 385, Venom 2: 227.

Note that this is on 64 3D. I've likely got a higher score on each of these missions in Score Attack, this is just for story.

I can only get 1463 on N64, though i'm not very good. I've never played the 3ds version because of getting my 3ds stolen. how is it?

3DS is pretty much the same as N64. The Arwing seems smaller on 3DS imo, but I think it's less that and more that the perspective has been shifted back, or maybe everything in the game is thinner, I'm not sure. It works the exact same, though.

Thats cool! I would love to play that game portable without using the terrible n64 portable that has a battery life of like 1 hour. I heard the multiplayer is terrible though, with landmasters and walking mode being taken out.

I'm not really a fan of 64 3D multiplayer. I don't like the way that Arwing's uncharged lasers have a semi lock-on feature, and the cooldown for U turns and loops is pretty bad. I also don't like the limit to the barrel roll, it having cooldown too. It also doesn't have online multiplayer.

Wow, N64 had it all compared to 3ds. Though the fog was annoying.

I usually average around 1200, with the basic true ending route.

Nice, I'm trying to go for 2000. I got 1463, but I just got 184 on Corneria so I am feeling hopeful for my score.

If I not remember bad ... The world record was close to 3000 hits. Idk

Also aquas have a lot of exploits but you have to break your hands literally lol.

  • 4 weeks later...

Mine is 1840 or so from YEARS AGO but it doesn't have my very best scores on individual levels - I'll have to check those later.

I see Meteo-Katina-Sector X/Solar are popular choices for high score routes; I always just defaulted to the Hard Route myself (and swapped out Sector Z for Macbeth). I guess Katina is a significantly easier choice to farm kills but oh my god that'd bore me to tears honestly.

I HAVE scored almost 700 points on Area 6, though!

Ok so I dusted off the N64 and got straight to the source!

Here's my top scores that are RECORDED per planet:

Corneria: 220

Sector Y: 243

Zoness: 325

Macbeth: 212

Area 6: 606(!!!)

Other levels aren't that special, like I have a 184 on Aquas but pft who cares about that shit. Venom is always at around 227. All of my runs are Hard Route with Macbeth so no other planet data is available pft. Note these are my best scores PER PLANET, these aren't all in a single playthrough sadly.
