Nintendo took down a 50min Sf zero walkthrough

Apparently Nintendo of America started to give free copies of starfox to you tubers (which is bad, I hate you all :D ) to promote the game. One of that guys abdallah smash 026 uploaded a walkthrough

I managed to watch a little of the stream but I didn't saw nothing new (the menu. Few cutscenes, etc) I don't really know what happened. Maybe he leak something or upload the video too early.

Anyways did anyone watch the full video?

seeing the entire walkthrough beforehand would completely spoil it.

Obviously it was only a very small part of it. The secret corneria path and something more (idk were that path leads)  he tagged the video as a walkthrough anyways....

I think the reason it was taken down (Or privatised, whichever's the case) is because he showed off the Falco Amiibo functionality, something that probably wasn't supposed to be revealed yet.

Yeah. I though the same. Not even the Japanese site reveals the falco functionality.

And yes is privatized. YouTube has some kind of embargo system. The video will be back on 6th April

Leon already pointed out in another thread that the guy started uploading stuff way too soon and that there are embargos on LP and preview footage until April.

Nintendo really should have put a review embargo in place.

Edit: Nevermind, must read commends in future.

I heard the same thing. Tbh it's for the best that it's been taken down because online, especially today, it's damn hard to avoid spoilers for anything. It's like no one likes being surprised anymore.

It might not have just been the amiibo. I saw the video when it was up and I believe he said at around the 35 minute mark "Sorry Nintendo, but I have to go overtime" becuase he wanted to beat Aquarosa, which he could not beat the whole time. So its possible he violated the rules on how long his footage could be.

Hm, hm, yes..I have also heard those videos are only allowed to be 30 minutes long and are only allowed to be posted..a week before? Not so sure on that part though.

..just throwing that in..

Spoiler! I actually did watch everything. It was Part 1 - Star Fox Zero Walkthrough (or something similar to it). It showed the very intro of the Game Menu, Start menu, etc,... Then he showed the map and the different kind of levels in it. You can choose the mission individually in ''Main Game''. There was 4 options out of 5 (the fifth being ? so it suggests something to unlock). Main Game, Training, Introduction, and then the other option made the game follow a path rather than choosing each missions individually (or so I understood from what the guy said), but I don't remember. Alternate Mission? There is also two different version of the missions, secret path aside. You actually choose it before entering the mission. You could see General Pepper's tower covered in a red shield with the orange sky in the back for the second version of Corneria's mission. It is something different than the portals. I have also watched on another video footage of unseen Area 3 parts - I don't know if it is still available. You had to activate a communication tower to power up the Colony, then activate the Gigarilla. The footage was stopping right there. I'm looking everyday almost every hour to see if anyone uploaded footages. Yes, I have nothing to do. But I didn't have a Star Fox game that gave me the chills and excitement like this one does for a very long time. *It is like I'm going back being a 7 year-old. Literally.* But basically, the video of 50 minutes was more about the guy trying to beat Aquarosa rather than showing anything else new. I'll spoil it: he eventually managed to beat it.

SPOILER: He also mentionned the Falco Amiibo function; it unlocks the Black Arwing; it charges up to two enemies at once but takes three time more damage. So I'm guessing it is some kind of expert mode?
