Former Staff

I have noticed a few members that were once staff members. What causes someone to no longer be a staff member? Give me a some examples with a few that you still remember. Please?

I'm no longer a staff member because I fell inactive a long time ago. Stopped visiting the site as much as I used to. I can't speak for the others, however.

They don't want to be staff anymore. 

Example: Most of former staff.

More detailed example: One got married. Others had real life. 

Nothing to special.

Yeah, neither answer is too hard to understand. I kind of figured as much, but I wanted to be sure.

If SFO had a staff opening, I would consider applying again. I enjoyed being a mod, and I enjoy this community. Expecially with SFZ here, I think it's going to get busy

Same for me being former staff. I went to college and as the courses picked up, I had less and less time to manage everything. I felt it only fair to drop the position to let someone else take it over.

In my case I opted out. Nothing special.

Back when I was an admin, I would start being picky if my mods would not show after 6 months of being inactive.

For R3dFiVe, he had too much to do in real life regarding university and he's still battling on and getting his thesis finished while doing some master courses at the same time. He felt it was unfair to say he still wanted to be staff when he couldn't promise at least monthly activity.

That's fair. I'm just glad that these people have other things to keep them busy. Life should never be about focusing on just 1 thing, not even for me.

Life for me back then was different. I'm a changed person, and have a new outlook on life.
