Possible Town of Salem game night (anyone is welcome)

So I've been meaning to get a group of people together to play this game for a long time, and thought that this would be the perfect place to do it. For those who don't know what Town of Salem is, it's a browser based, free to play game in which the whole objective of the game is to complete the objective (or Goal) on your role card, which will look like this:



In game, you will either get put as a Town role, a Mafia role, or a Neutral role, and depending on which one you get, your objective will be different. If you're town, you'll want to get rid of all mafia and Neutral role's that will endanger the town. If you're mafia, then you want to get rid of the town members and the neutral role's that will be a threat to your team. And if you're a neutral killing role, you are alone and have to kill off all town, mafia, and neutral role's that will serve as an obstacle.

So how this will work is people will make accounts and will post their usernames here. It's case sensitive so you have to put the username exactly how it's spelled out (capitals and spaces if any). I will then add people, make a lobby, and we'll be able to start the game. I will add that if we gather less than 15 people, we'll be paired up with random people who are also playing. 

Now, how many of you are interested in a Skype session during the game? If you are, there are certain rules that we have to follow, or it could result in a ban:

Things you cannot do:

• You cannot tell your role to others in the call until you are dead. Anyone caught telling their role to others before death will be removed from the party.
• You cannot share any information about people who are immune to attacks to anyone in the Skype call.
• You cannot share any information on other players role's with the rest of the Skype call if you are Consigler or Investigator (for those who are not aware, Consig is a mafia role that allows you to see exact player roles. Investigator, however, is a town role that gives you certain options on what that player could possibly be and doesn't give exact specifics on roles. Sharing any information to anyone in the call is considered cheating and could get us all banned. Anyone caught sharing that information with Skype call members will be kicked from the party).
• You are not allowed to give away any of your teammates names if you're mafia or vampire, nor are you allowed to knowingly pair up with someone of the opposite team. That is considered game throwing and will get you banned.

Things you can do:

• We may all share speculations and discuss about who we think are certain roles
• If you are Mafia or Vampire, you are allowed to use signals (An example being "Thunder" and "flash") in your team's chat in order to see if one or more of the people on your team are within the Skype call. If someone responds, you then are allowed to share names and findings with those on your team and those people alone, but only in your team's chat. Not on the Skype call for obvious reasons. Do not use your in game usernames, since a Spy could see it and kill you. Instead, when telling your partner who you are, use your name that people know you as from SFO.
• You are allowed to lie and claim death in order to deceive other party members.
• When the town is required to vote on lynching the person up on the stand or not, you are allowed to vote "guilty" on them, even if they are your own teammate, to blend in and not look suspicious.

Things that are against the rules but I have no problem with you doing:

• Trolling and spamming in order to die as jester (or if you simply want to spectate you can do it and watch from the dead chat) and/or lure opponents to your house as Vet. Although it is against the rules to spam, I use the tactic all the time to get hung as jester and/or lure people who will obviously hate me to my house in order to get rid of one or multiple opponents.

Besides those things, everything else is fair game. When we start, we will play several practice games where I will be available to help those who don't understand roles or don't understand acronyms. I'll point out which name I'm using so people can whisper to me any questions they have about the game. Be careful exactly what you say though, because Spy's can read whispers and also can see the Mafia chat. So just a fair warning to you so you don't get ratted out by a spy.

And for the last thing, remember to change skins every 1-3 games and names every time. No one in this game will be your friend, and unless you're mafia or vampire, you don't know who you can trust. So if you keep the same name or use the same names multiple times in a row, or constantly use the same skin, you can't blame one of us for instantly recognizing you and possibly killing you or getting you hung.

Other than that, that's all I can think of at the moment. If you guys are available on Saturday (aka tomorrow) around 3pm, then we'll make that the time and day of our first game :). Let me know beforehand if you want a Skype session so we can communicate better or not.

It's essentially a gaming version of Skype that uses a lot less CPU than the Skype client, so it's more practical for gaming and such.
