Ludvig11
What is this (used for)? is it like the voice-recogniser like on DS or something..? [attachment deleted due to age]
Scott_Wolf
I've no idea about the confired stuff because i haven't looked anytrhing up, but isn't that supposed to be a speaker that emites all those nitty-gritty noises to add gaming...'interaction'...or depth? Taco-Man
Meh-quality sound effects. I'm not sure why they decided to use it.
Mr. Krystal
It's a simple speaker. It's mainly used for audio cues. For instance, if you were to block a sword behind your head, you'd hear the blades hit behind your head. It's for simple realism, but as far as I know, no game has yet used it to it's full potential. Lilacs
What Dwight said, when I was playing Exite Truck when ever you hit boost or somthing you would hear the engine purr and stuff through the little speaker.
Kal
TP has a bunch of stuff for it. Like swinging the ball/chain, sword strikes (I think), shooting the bow, etc. I suppose if you were making the action, it would seem better. I think you shouldn't have it if your TV is muted, though. It's all silence, then CLANG CLANG CLANG!

ONE_HELLCAT
I wouldn't say that it's "meh-quality." I mean, at the right volume, like a couple notches below max, it sounds great. And can really be helpful about some things you might not be paying attention to. Or in some games it's just a fun little thing.
Lord O'Donnell
Has anyone seen this video before? Its about an accident with the wii control. Yes it looks fake (I believe its a fake), however some friends that get the wii had the same accident and the writ wrap is useless, you need to paste that thing to your hands, today I saw in bestbuy something that prevents the slippey of it (I hate them how its possible they managed to buy one?) Lilacs
^ Heres an answer don't throw it with all of your might! I mean look at the guy in the video he's throwing it has hard as he can (And you can really tell it's a fake, that glass shadering sound is from a window not a TV with 2-INCH glass!) Steve
sheesh..I mean it's ok to get exited and all but...first of all, playing that close....is just dummy because the sensor won't catch the cursor signal...and second, in wii sports , specially in tennis, you don't need to freaking play that hard, not even in real tennis you hit the balls like that ....and I really doubt the writ wrap would have saved that tv
