14432
Anyone agree with this theory: The Aparoid Homeworld is actually Cerinia and Andross never destroyed Cerinia, the aparoids came and assimilated it.\\ Andross did nothing wrong. . .
Ori
Sorry if I don't follow, but that feels like a very long stretch. There's little if any content connecting Andross to Cerinia in the first place, and even if it actually had been assimilated, at least some of it would have remained as recognizable ruins that Krystal would have taken notice of; one would think she'd recognize the place she lived in. The lack of detailed background information surrounding the series makes the task of imagining what-if scenarios more challenging than it's really worth as you need to do a lot more than just fill in some blanks.

Ori
1. Difficult to tell, characterization is little to none in all of the cast so any reaction could really happen. The best response would be continue with the mission regardless: by the point anyone would have found that happened it would be too late to change anything anyway. 2. Far as the game shows, Aparoids seem to assimilate through physical exposure (infecting subjects with viruses or what-have-you) rather than indoctrinating them or subjecting them to some form of mind control. Additionally, the queen does have some sort of telepathy as seen in the finale of Assault, but that seemed less like indoctrination (forcing the subject to see the Aparoids under a positive, mystical or hopeful view) and more like an attempt of deceit by using their memories. Ori
If they could, then the Aparoids you're looking for suit almost too well the description of the Reapers. Spoiler
Robert Monroe
This isn't so much a theory as it is baseless speculation - there's nothing to suggest or deny it happened. Personally I think Andross destroyed Cerinia.... soooomehow. Krystal recognizes his ghostly form in SFAd at least, for whatever that was worth. I'm pretty sure the aparoids destroyed cerinia. . . Spoiler . . .and possibly telepathicaly marked her before she escaped
Robert Monroe
There is literally absolutely zero evidence to support or suggest the aparoids. What does "instinctively out of coincidence" even mean? :|
