Steve
ok people your thoughts about this one..... I really think nintendo hit the casual, the hardcore and even non-gamers with this one ...I mean...after my mom told me "omg...we need to get another freaking control for tennis..." and seeing my dad doing "street fighting" rather than boxing (and they haven't played a game since the ATARI )...I realized how great this game is. I used to play real tennis some time ago, and I can steadly say, the exactitude of the wii remote is 75% like real tennis swings ...I really loved each sport, despide the fact...golf swings are kinda inexact, boxing some times doesn't get your moves, and piching in baseball is weak...the game just owns
Taco-Man
Baseball: Annoying. It's ok, but pitching isn't that great, and it's all a game of chance. Golf: Haven't played it Tennis: If only I could move around on my own. Then it'd be slightly better. Pretty good, but it all depends on the timing of the swings Bowling: Easy, yet fun Boxing: My favorite. The controls are complex, which I like. A few issues, but just the fact that they pretty much pulled it off is amazing Although I'm sore ever since I first got it, it is fun, and people enjoy it. Already getting my older sister's friends to want to come over and play it, and people keep asking me about the site that finds the shipments of Wiis. Waiting for Excite Truck, but this game has kept me busy.
Mr. Krystal
I've only really played Boxing and Bowling. They worth the price of the game, even if you had to pay for it!
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
I like the Tennis and Baseball (of course for hitting).....I wish there was more though..... It's pretty good overall.
Inuyasha
I've played tennis a bit and have read reviews. It was surprisingly fun to play, but, as the reviews said, not particularly deep and not too much fun on your own. But hey, it is free, and it's, again, surprisingly fun to play with friends. Never reject free games. -Inuyasha
FireFox516
Yeah, I agree that Nintendo really hit almost every type of gamer/non-gamer with this one. My mom really hates video games, but she loves playing Wii Sports... as does everyone else in this house. Personally, I enjoy Tennis and Boxing the most out of 'em. Inuyasha
I've heard it argued that boxing is the most solid one, and perhaps it is for playing alone, but I'd have to agree with my friends that Tennis is the best for multiplayer stuff. -Inuyasha
FireFox516
I do think Tennis is the best for multiplayer as well. Actually, I've had some trouble playing 2-Player Boxing; it usually has a really hard time picking up what I'm doing for some reason... I don't have any problems with it on single-player, though. Inuyasha
Yeah, I've heard mixed things about the boxing. GI praised it, but NP said it had some flaws. Both said it was still fun, though...just a bit glithy-feeling, like you said. -Inuyasha
