DZComposer
I haven't been around lately. I've had kind of a personal crisis in my life that started this summer, and it continued for months. One of the things that happened is that I completely stopped working on or even coming to SF-O. And I really should not have. I laid-down a vision for what I wanted to accomplish in 2016, and most of that is now not going to happen this year. And a lot of this started around the time Star Fox Zero came out. Worse, things have been broken on the site for that length of time as well. I let you guys down, and I would like to apologize. I am going to try to get back on top of things and get this site running at full steam again. It will take some time, but I still do want this site to be the best it can be, even though I sometime fail to be the best I can be for the site. First thing I am going to do is update the software later this afternoon. We are several version behind.
geoprimedonna
DZ, I completely understand your situation. Things have been hard for me the last few months as well. We, as a community, just want to let you know that you didn't let us down. You were just having a moment, and we understand that. We have our moments as well. However, we are glad to see your back. If there is anything we can do, let us know. After all, this is our "little space on the Internet", we should all attempt to contribute somehow. Rusakov
Real life comes first. The site may be broken in some ways right now, but it's still working pretty well outside of those areas. Don't be hard on yourself, you're awesome!
LoneWolf
Sometimes real life gets in the way of your hobbies, and that's totally fine. You have no obligation to keep the site running, but you do anyways. The site has totally maintained a level of functionality that all of us are happy with while you were gone. You didn't let us down, the site being up is literally all any of us can realistically ask of you. After all, SFO isn't your job. Hopefully things have settled down for you, and if they haven't please don't spend more time on SFO. Gotta put out the fire engulfing your own house before you try to put out your neighbor's. I'm totally down to get involved and help out with the site in any way I can, and I know that I'm not the only one that would say that. Great to see you back though!
Clearwater
Don't worry DZ, you didn't let us down, even if we were asking ourselves half the time where you had got to. If ever you need to take a break because of personal life or something else, feel free to. As Rusakov said, personal life comes first. We're patient enough to wait. Either way, good to have ya back with us.
Robert Monroe
DZ you know we love you mang, and we know you've been struggling with stuff. If it makes you feel better, Zero has provided a decent topic of discussion and our Discord server is STUPIDLY active every day, so the community is still around and about! SF Redd
Hey man. Welcome back. You've got the respect of this community, and it'll take much more than a few months absence to make you lose it. I hope everything in your life is good again. Don't fret about anything.

Steve
DZ, regardless if you read this now or whenever someone pings you on Steam or whatever, you have to do something. The site has pretty much gone from "quiet" to "rogue" since you have been gone on hiatus. You may be paying the bills to keep this place hosted, but don't expect the community to simple stay around without any relevant updates. Without direct intend, while you are gone, the site is literally dying. Therefore, indirectly, you are killing the site you worked so hard to maintain over the past 10 years. This is your work. Sure, some folks have helped you build this place, but you are the main pillar. It's been 2 months since you last logged, again, leaving personal crisis aside, the more time you spend away from the site, the higher is the chance that you will end up finding nothing when you return. . Your current 2 pseudo Admins definitely are not ones to count on. Redeemer pretty much left and I wouldn't take the torch as I am only around due to nostalgia and to ban-hammer imbeciles at this point, I tried to get involved again, but I really don't give a shit about SF and I can't identify myself with this generation of SFOers (no offense). If you are going to remain on hiatus, take my advise and find someone else, mature and experienced ,who shares your passion for SF/Nintendo to keep this place running. Appoint that person as your main backup and make either Vydrach or OneUnder Mod leads . At least by doing so you are preventing further damage and you would keep the site going on. If you simply decide you don't care/don't have time for this, passing the torch should be easy and straightforward.
