Snys93
@Dr. Orange Y'all watch D-war? If not, you don't know what pain is. And the more pain you feel, you begin to like it.
LinkyHYC
Looks like the kind of shit The Asylum would produce. If that's the case, here's a quick summary of the movie: bland human characters during 98% of the movie (stupid "scientific" bullshit included), with a ridiculous "romance" and some boobie-shots, and for the final 5 minutes, Dragons in bad CGI. Aside from the boob-shots and the science bs, you're right on the money. Bad cgi and a forced romance with cardboard characters is what drives this film. But some scenes are just unintentionally golden and well... Just see for yourself

Is this about mythical Korean dragons called Imoogi? If so, I think I've heard of this movie.

Just see for yourself Well, the CGI almost looks acceptable in this video! This isn't a movie from The Asylum though, and looks like it was a commercial success in South Korea! I remember watching Mega Shark versus Giant Octopus, in which a giant Shark and a giant Octopus are set free from a prehistorical iceberg. Well, there are scientists who try to explain why they are released now (climate change) and why no one ever discover them before since they were pretty close to the surface (no idea why), and at one point... Let me quote wikipedia on this : "While working at a naval laboratory to develop a method for luring the creatures, MacNeil and Shimada become attracted to each other and have sex in a utility closet. The incident makes them realize they can attract the creatures using chemicals" I kid you not, they have sex in a closet (after getting to know each other for 5 minutes by the way) and realize they can use pheromones to attract the beasts. God damn it. And then they started making Sharknado movies.

No. It thinks it's super serious. Which adds to the pain.

When it's dead serious, you end up with ridiculous (therefore hilarious) movies. I don't like the Sharnkado series because it knows it is supposed to be bad and so IS bad on purpose. That's the same reason I enjoyed watching the original Samurai Cop and hated the sequel they made a couple of years ago. Those movies are bad because they want to be bad. Now, I don't know if this applies to D-War, but that's my thoughts on the question.
Rusakov
I really feel like Sony was blowing its own horn in EM. Mostly via product placement for mobile apps they own. Granted this wasn't the first time they did something creepily megacorp-like:
