Snys93
It's coming, like it or not, ready or not, it's coming this December. Personally I like the Force Awakens. While it was not a perfect film, I felt it was a fun film. This I hope atleast matches or exceeds. I just want it to be enjoyable compared to Rouge One. ... The movie... Ew... So anyway, this thread has to happens. What do you dudes think? It can't be as bad as... You know... Can it be better than THIS ?!?!?! ^ ... Rusakov
I'm sorry, but I'm not going to go to the theater to see more SW films. I got burnt twice by Force Awakens and Rogue One and I've kind of felt that I've... outgrown Star Wars. I don't really have the same zeal for it that I used to, that's for sure. And funny you mention Jar Jar Binks. Freaky Freya has some sites you might like. http://freaky_freya.tripod.com/jarjarmovies.html http://freaky_freya.tripod.com/diejarjar.html

UAZ-469
I really shed some tears of joy during The Force Awakens as everything I missed from the Original Trilogy was back. So I will definitely watch this movie as well!
Dr. Orange
Honestly I wasn't too big on the Force Awakens. It felt too similar to the forth movie and just shy from being an exact clone. That and I might be a little biased because I'm waiting for Kyle Katarn and the new Palpatine. Rouge One was the best damn thing. It answered questions I remember joking about the Death Star's design and really kept to the story with (spoiler), Spoiler Everyone dying lol I'll watch this. Rouge One could have been a better movie and sadly it took an entire movie to explain a plot hole that could have explained with a single sentence of dialogue. ... Oh...that did happen... Icy
Personally, I've immensely enjoyed the last three Star Wars movies to be released. I don't expect this to take any kind of a dive, in terms of quality. Looking forward to it! Just crossing my fingers that, as a second film in a trilogy, it's more like The Empire Strikes Back, not something like Attack of the Clones.. Also I want lots of screen time for Luke. I wanna see that grey-bearded jedi a lot, pleaseee

LinkyHYC
I saw Star Wars VIII wednesday, and I absolutely loved it! Far far above episode VII for me, and better than I-II-III (and probably VI? I don't know, I should rewatch all the series). This movie will clearly split the fanbase in two however. I have seen people who hated the movie while other (me included) loved it. One thing to be sure, this one is finally establishing new stuff without ripping off another Star Wars movie like The Force Awakened did with A New Hope. There are still references to older movies, but this is not a clone. A lot of stuff is happening too, the characters are evolving... Overall, I truly enjoyed the movie and I'm going to watch it a second time tomorrow morning. Can't wait!
valkiriforce
I'm certainly curious to see this new one seeing how divisive it's been among fans. Personally, I've yet to see a Star Wars movie I don't like - but I would say it's probably between episode II and VII I would consider to be the weaker entries; the latter of which felt too remake-y, but it had its moments. Dr. Orange
Idk fam. EpII was bad (and still is) but this is just if not more bad. Saw it. Hated it. Felt like V chopped up and reworked. Not original, throw a cute animal and don't change a story made Disney bank.

Though I have to admit it had some moments that stuck out to me more than Force Awakens. But the whole part with the casino planet put the brakes on the pacing and there was bits about animal cruelty and other political garbage. While I'm for treating animals humanly, I didn't feel it needed to be in a star wars movie. A story of a diminishing resistance against remnants of a shattered empire doesn't need a PETA PSA to make it good. Please put your propaganda some where's else, Hollywood and not in my star wars ;( ...
SF Redd
I love the movie. Maybe my new favourite. There was so many moments that I felt worked so well.
