david201
Which iteration of corneria in all games is the most advanced and which is the least advanced?
Snys93
Well I would have to say Starfox Zero as the most advanced technology wise and starfox snes because everything seems analog than digital.
Sylono
Well, the least advanced is 64, considering the buildings aren't even built into the ground.

Then who's got better tech Assault or Zero?
Sylono
David, a good way to answer that is to ask which one has space fighters that can turn into mechs.
david201
David, a good way to answer that is to ask which one has space fighters that can turn into mechs. as well as which one is more effective in fending off an aparoid invasion better
Sylono
David... Zero isn't in the aparoid war timeline, it's a reboot of 64. Unless the aparoid war is rebooted following Zero's time line, then we can assume that the tech that would be improved would be better. Also keep in mind just how much of a deus ex machina the virus made in Assault was, it made it so that Lylat didn't even have to fight the aparoids for that long.

Sylono
Probably about as long as it takes to make that virus, then shoot it into the queen. No point in asking me to compare them, considering in assault it wasn't a straight out fight, just a mad dash to build the crucible and wipe out all artificial intelligence in the galaxy make the "aparoid-go-boom" virus.

There's also another thing Assault era corneria has that zero era corneria doesnt have, an orbital gate
Sylono
That's just a warp gate, Andross uses one to invade Corneria in the SF Zero animation. No reason they can't just reverse engineer that after they win. Besides, the aparoid war is years after the Lylat war, there's no argument to be made that it can't just be built again.

david201
Argument? What're you on about? all i can say is that corneria in zero has no ground troops and nobody seems to use body armor
Sylono
David... Dude... Just because they don't show the largely irrelevant ground fighting, doesn't mean it isn't happening somewhere. It just wouldn't make sense to add considering all the fighter based combat. Also, the only characters you see are pilots, why would a pilot need body armor?

Sylono
What? I never actually used a Wii u before, but I'd suspect it would have the processing power to handle something even the gamecube was capable of. "Pilot" is the key word here, David, google image a fighter pilot suit for me and tell me just how many are wearing kevlar, would ya'? Then tell me why a pilot would waste time getting out of his ship in enemy territory. In Star Fox assault there were excuses for why you weren't always in your Arwing, but, outside of a few missions that I can remember, you generally had the option of using a tank, or eventually got your arwing back midway into the fight. More than that, why would they need armor when they very clearly have the reflectors from smash brothers?:

Sylono
Is that *still* the only part of what I wrote that you have an answer for? (edited) (Edit) Why would...? David, what the heck are you on about? Why do you even bring any of this up if you only pick pieces of a conversation you think you have an answer for? Edited May 30, 2017 by Sylono David I'm still not impressed.
