Star Fox in Starlink

So...any thoughts on this? It certainly makes the title game more interesting seeing as I've never even heard of it until now. I'm rather curious what other exclusives may be featured when the game is eventually released.

Eh.  It's alright.  The Arwing designs need to grow on me.

Still not sold on anything shown this E3.  Probably one of my most hated E3's with nothing of interest [to me].

I could not care less. This game doesn't seem like the same one that became obsessed with when I was 9. I'm just going to stick with my own materials.

I'll probably pick it up. It would be cool to fly the galaxy in an Arwing unscripted, no missions or battles (hopefully)

It's Ubisoft though. I'll wait for reviews because the way the game was described seems too good to be true.

I may also need a Switch.

Some more cool footage. Jump to 15:40 to see Fox in action.

Well, I can only speak of me, but I plan to get it. Looks like my kind of game.

(That and I am just a hopeless fan sometimes..)

Since you can play as Fox in the Arwing throughout the entire game, I'll for sure be picking this up day one. Unfortunately this may be Team Star Fox's only showing on the Switch. I hope that's not the case, but in any event at least it's something.

Technically they all make appearances in the new Super Smash Bros.  It's something!

But didn't Star Fox Zero basically write Krystal out of existence?

I find it odd that they kept her Assault outfit as well for Smash, considering Sakurai should have known Zero was in production when Smash Switch was in the planning stages.

The fact that her staff (FINALLY) makes another appearance for the first time since Adventures given the above makes it all seem even more confusing.

As for Starlink, it actually looks alright. Perhaps it will be fun to play in small bursts. I just can't get this weird feeling out of my mind that the Arwing looks looks a little off in terms of being able to move horizontally as well as backwards, when clearly by all accounts it has never, and definitely should not be able to.

Gotta say, Starlink looks awesome. I can't help but be reminded of X and X-scape when I see the ground combat which of course share some Star Fox lineage. (Side note I want a third X game and another Q-games Star Fox title)

This looks cool sure, but I was hoping we'd see more stuff about Star Fox Grand Prix was that just a phony rumor or what?

The new Nintendo Direct showed off additional gameplay and some beautiful pre-rendered cutscenes.  Not to mention Wolf is looking as good as ever.  The return to his British accented speech is curious - while I prefer his Assault voice over the others, this iteration isn't bad at all.

Really liking Wolf's design; it seems to follow Star Fox Zero's outfit more closely than Smash. Still, both are cool, and it's great to see this much content has been coming out lately for Star Fox.

There is an update adding the crew of starfox to the game and new starfox based missions with all the Starwolf gang.
