The others were making a commotion of some kind...but the Silver Demon couldn't hear it. All it heard was the panting. The innocent shock, the delightful song of- "Raj...why..." The Demon grinned as it shoved the blade deeper into Holbrook's lung. Because he thinks of you too much, the monster hissed. Makes you the perfect target. The force pinning her to the wall eased, though Raj's hand didn't move. A cold, slimy feeling crept through her chest, sending a chill throughout her body. The satanic smile drifted closer to her head, and she twitched as the long, black steel tongue drifted easily through her ear canal, suddenly tearing out, taking a chunk of flesh. She screamed. A silver mass silenced her. She felt...cold. Everywhere. The room started to fade... She heard the Demon cackle. Then she heard no more. The lodge fell silent. The others soon stopped fussing, lying face-first in their own blood. The floor, the walls, the ceiling, all covered in red spatters and smears. The other half sat in a corner, the first one knocked unconscious; if not for the thrice-cursed soul link, the Demon would have taken greatest pleasure in ending his life, too. But this...this was...in a word, perfect. The body of the Focus fell limp against his arm. So she died before I could gut her, the Demon thought. Pity. I wanted her to scream more. The beast chuckled lightly and tossed Holbrook's corpse with the others. She had it coming. What was it my host said? 'Never come near me again...please!' Please! Such a weak Scourge. To think he had feelings for her...such a waste of energy. Splt. Splt. Splt. Splt was the sound his footsteps made in the bloodpools as the Demon made its way to the door, kicked aside a fallen Era grunt, felt the door, kicked it down, and took its first steps outside. A free man, as the saying goes. Kal was bound tightly; someone would have to find the lodge and set him free, and by that time... Bright lights shone on the horizon. A town, a city, a few miles away. The Demon grinned. The murder wasn't finished tonight. ------------- Ms. Will of the Macrocosm heard the sudden cries of the RPers. Something had to be done.
