Guest Para Astaroth
(off topic) ... I can't see Krystal in white, but that's fine.(On topic) Am I the only one in here that ACTUALLY liked the Bombburst Pod? I loved that big sucker whenever I set it down, went into cover, and heard the loud whistle whenever it shot out several grenades into the sky. That was my favorite weapon. Guest Para Astaroth
Too bad you couldn't use it in the Story. :(
rainfyre66
Yes, I like Assualt. If anything, it gives the series a lot of potential. People are too hard on these newer games
Guest Para Astaroth
Yeah, such as the art for Command. It was some of the best I've seen.. but most of the endings had some funny ones. (Don't say Command was bad, because it still had aspects of the first Star Fox in it.)Also, most of the good weapons were in Multiplayer. I just wondered why they didn't add them into the actual story.
Guest DemonSlayer197
I liked it, but when I played it the game was over in a few hours which shocked me. SF64 was definitely better but I think Assault was harder
Guest Para Astaroth
I really didn't like 64 since it was a remake of the first Star Fox game. Being in an Arwing, or Landmaster, for all the missions got kind of old after awhile, minus the fact that most of the voices sounded like 12 to 14 year old kids.Assault did a good job with the scenes, but the sense of speed was kind of bad. Great selection of weapons and such, but seemed a bit overpowering. Bosses were fun, but were a little to easy for me too beat.

KyoTheFoxDemon
It started off great and epic but then I realized it was too shortAnd Multiplayer in a nutshell = Loop me I loop you, forever, the Arwing controls were just TOO simple and there was not much special about the Wolfen. ThePointingMan
Well, at over 400 multiplayer matches, i suppose it would be impossible to say i don't like it. I mean sure the single player wasn't that great, and the voices where indeed as if they where spoken in tin cans(I think that's cause it's supposed to sound like they are using communications devices or something.) but i loved the multiplayer sooooooooo much. also as far as loop, you kill me i kill you... more like... now i may be bragging a little (or a lot) and i plead forgiveness but, more like i kill other player mass amounts of times and they don't kill me once. I love all the unlock ables, they are so neat, esspecially the maps titania and zonees.
Guest Julius Quasar
I managed to get a copy of SF Assault WITH AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL! My previous copy didn't have a manual, and it was kinda messed up, and didn't play right...but Good ol' Gamestop hooked me up via a good exchange. Fox-Shot
The only problem with my copy is that I suck at multiplayer. Dang disc. :P
viktor141
Assault is my favorite gamecube game even though the voices are odd and its pretty short, its still pretty good. Fun multiplayer and pretty good graphics is what keeps it going for me.
Vindr
I actually know people who consider Assault to be one of the few hardcore games that Nintendo has made.Multiplayer could've been better in my opinion.

I wish Nintendo went back to making it. If they don't want to make it them selves, can they at least have HAL make it.
Yusuke Fujiwara75
I didn't like the shortness or the sloppy controls. Th only thing I liked was that Krystal and Star Wolf were in it.
X-Gamer
I liked the fact that you could go on foot. It brought something new to missions, multiplayer, etc. Speaking of multiplayer, that also was a major upgrade. The music for both campaign and multiplayer were really good. Characters in the campaign actually sometimes helped out. Except for one...*cough* *Slippy*.

For the last and final time having only ON rail is Boring Don't you ever get tired of that? I personnally like the abilty to free roam and one last think the on foot mission FInnaly give you a chance to look at the character as a 3d model. Vy'drach
I personally enjoyed this game, as its been said before, its no Star Fox 64, but does anyone really believe that game can be topped? But as far as Assault goes, if they'd of made it longer, perhaps tightened the controls a little more, and it could of been a phenomenal game I believe, but the game has a special place in my heart for three things: 1, letting me control/fight alongside Krystal, who is my favorite character from....anything, 2, for letting me shoot down Panther, who I am really not fond of, and 3, for the cut scene at the end of the Sauria mission, Fox's nervousness and Krystal's expressions made me laugh. Overall, was it an enjoyable game for me that I had some truly good times in, got some good laughs out of the game play.
