There's nothing wrong with a girl playing Starfox, Halo, James Bond, or Gears of War is there? (...Okay, I get why most wouldn't play that last one....) Or any videogame for that matter? I just wanted to know what people think (and if you think it's kinda weird, that's okay), since I've gotten a few weird looks when I mention that I play the above games. They always tell me, "You don't look like the gamer type." And when I do inform them they always suggest "girl" games like Nintendogs and Super Princess Peach. Not that I already have it.... But, I do play games, like Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil and tons of fighting games. But, Gears of War, you go girl! I'm too much of a whimp to even play it. Needed to say that before I get hurt)...only about, what 10% of video game players are girls? I think there's another 5% of them that don't talk about them. I can't remember to well at the moment, but I have noticed that there are a lot of girls who play Star Fox games. I think the Wii might be able to get more girls to play video games. Everyone male and female I've met enjoy the Wii, when I was originally one of the few I knew of who enjoyed Nintendo games (surrounded my Xbox fans). I basically grew up watching them play games like that.. They suggest that you should play girl games? Oh, they're just afraid of you and you're mad gaming ski11z (To Taco-Man) Lol. When I read that, this popped into my head "Starfox equals girl magnet" And just to be silly, I saw a guy dressed as a magnet with a bunch of little fuzzy toy chicks glued onto it for Halloween. Sure, she's probably spent more than 2000 hours on Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts, but she still plays 'em! WE WERE CONSTANTLY TRYING TO FIND OUT WAY AROU--" Okay, that's enough outta you.) And we almost killed Aeris twice. We ran into that stupid house like thirty times before we finally died. (Why does it take so long to run away, why? *sob*) Oh, and we had to loop back to get Jessie once. And then she left us behind to find our own way back, which should be painfully obvious that we can't do such a thing. And it took a while to figure out how to climb onto/over stuff. So yeah. Some girls need to seriously get out more. I'm not the biggest fan of FPS games, but I absolutely love fighters. I remeber how many weird looks I got from my fellow (female) exchange students when I was playing Guilty Gear in Japan, and kicking quite a bit of ass. But really, I would TOTALLY go for the nearest video game (even if it was Pacman or Snake on a cell phone ) than sit and gossip with the girls at my school.
