EvolutionSFox
My personal vote? They're all so awesome but Adventures gets my vote.
Guest Pyre Vulpimorph
I love SNES Star Fox and Star Fox 64, but.... Assault gets my vote. *shot* Why?! Because of two things: General Pepper and Peppy Hare choose to sacrifice themselves for greater good of Lylat. (I'm a wuss; I cry at those scenes)
Four-eyed Vulpine
I voted Assault because the graphics are the best, and I love the orchestrated music during the missions. My 2nd choice would be Adventures.
Guest Chiro-Chan
Don't worry, Pyre, I cried during Peppy's cutscene (though not Pepper's(I don't really like him)). And it's a really really hard choice. Adventures holds alot of great memories for me, and it was my first Star Fox game, not to mention that I loved the atmosphere of it, and it was just so frigging BEAUTIFUL. I also loved Star Fox 64 for the amazing gameplay, and the 'N64 days' nostalgia. The SNES Star Fox is also one of my favorites, because of how trippy it is, and because it's difficult, and fun. Assault had beautifully done music, and was very sci-fi-ish, and oddly... colorful! xD Command had excellent game play, and the ship designs and music were nice, but I HATE HATE HATE the story and especially the character portrayal (the portrayal thing also somewhat applies to Assault too). The desings in the last two games weren't as good as they should have been, and now Fox's head resembles a fox mask that I bought in Japan. xD Yea, so for me it's really hard to decide. I'm mostly caught between Adventures and 64, but my vote goes to Adventures, since it was my first game.
Guest Pyre Vulpimorph
"Is that you, Fox?" "This is my final request. Destroy this ship, DESTROY ME!" "My body… It's betraying me! Take me out!" "Don't worry, Fox! Just fire!" "Ugh! Never thought... I'd be fighting... all of you!" "I'm sorry… I'm powerless! Shoot! Shoot me!" "No reason to wait… I'm already an Aparoid…" "Honor… Let me keep my honor, Fox!" "LET ME DIE IN BATTLE !!! DON'T LET ME TRANSFORM !!!." (Assault quotes thanx to Kilroy84 on GameFAQS) I swear, the poor General is a tough boss, but brings tears to my eyes... *slapped for effeminence*
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Man, to tell the truth. It has to be N64. It was the first SF game that truly made me fall in love with the series. A whole lotta memorable quotes and characters, the multiplayer dogfight and the short and sweet cutscenes. But y'know, the SNES vers. come in second. Scott_Wolf
Assault. SF64 was awesome, but my memories of it are almost black and white. Plus Assault has the most awesome music evah. =D
Mr. Krystal
Have to go with SF 64. The controls MADE this game! There were lots of other reasons too. Voice acting was good, graphics were phenominal (for their time), and it was flat out fun to play.

Star Fox Runner
I'm caught between Adventures and Assault, 64 was good, but really the game that made me become an actual Star Fox fan was Adventures. Why? 1. Adventures was my first Gamecube game. 2. I have been a fan of fantasy games and Aerial combat games for a long time, throw those two together, you got me. 3. For a last minute conversion from another game, it was really good despite its flaws. Assault. 1. Amazing graphics. 2. BEAUTIFULLY done music. 3. Air AND ground combat. 4. Was a pretty good game. I couldn't decide which to vote for, so I flipped a coin, Assault won, but I love them both evenly
Steve
The Snes version brings me back some of the best old school moments, and the 64 version was simply neat, so I would give my vote to any of them. For my taste, Adventures lacked many things related to the franchise (mostly , fast paced parts) . Assault was pretty good, lacked of depth and tunning, but still, pretty enjoyable, and of course, just 10 missions is just not enough.
TurboJ
I had to vote for SF64. So many memories of me charging through the Asteroid Belt screaming "Kamikaze Arwing!" and bombing everything in sight. Plus it gave us so many sound bites... Barrel roll! RPGmaster2000
Starfox 64 all the way! Although Starfox 2 Beta comes as a pretty close second.
foxbird22
Wow, those results are surprising. Command hasn't gotten any votes yet? Glad to see Adventures is on top! That's my favorite by far! :(
Gene Inari
Well it looks like SF64 is winning by two votes now. Star Fox 64 gets my vote. I remember playing it when I was like 7 or 8, good times. Adventures is second because it's just awesome to look at, but it was a bit distant from the norm and was udder junk after you think about the details. Assault is 3rd, the music was just incredible and so were the arwing segments, but the Landmaster Tank controls are clunky and I still fumble a bit trying to drive the thing, and it just seemed a bit much on the arcade-ish side. I've never played Command on account I don't own a DS, so I don't have an pinion on that.
