Hmmmm....I'd say Bowser. Because. Yeah, I'm still a old-schooler.

I'm tied between Andross (lol bandwagon), Bowser (same reasons as Sol), Meteo, and Smithy.

Andross, because I'm a huge Star Fox fan, down to my very frickin' core; Bowser, because he is old-school; Meteo, because it was seperated at birth from Sauron's eye thingie, and not to mention, got pwned in one of the endings with a GIANT FORK; and lastly Smithy, because he is sheer awesome.

Oh, and Master Hand. That too.

Ya know what, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say

Sephiroth (IDK how to spell it, but it just struck me, FF7 was the best FF in my opinion.)

Well, of course I'm gonna have to say Bowser, seeing how he's the first bad-guy in a video game I'd ever fought against.

But I'm tied between him and Ocelot/Liquid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series; that guy just won't go down!

I've been liking Count Bleck recently.

There was another good bad guy, I can't remember who. What about phazon? That living mineral that destroys whole planets in the Metroid Prime series. Not exactly a bad "guy," but defiantly an evil force.

Wait... now that I think about it, A. Wesker from the "Resident Evil" series is probably the coolest villain...

EVER.

Ah Nemisis, I forgot all about him... yeah I hated him too, though he was more of a nusiance *can't spell* more than a cool villian, everywhere I turn and then the chilling word he calls STARS when I am just about dead and thinking I finally found the safe zone of Racoon City...

WHY CAN'T YOU FREAKIN DIE YOU MUTANT ZOMBIE MONSTER JILL STALKER!!!

let me refrase that,

WHY CAN'T YOU STAY DEAD YOU MUTANT ZOMBIE MONSTER JILL STALKER!!!

Yeah, he wasn't hard... just very annoying with his huge rocket launcher of doom while muttering "Stars" every second.

Two words: JILL SANDWICH!!  :P Cookies for the one who gets that.

Maybe not a villian, but still pretty cool, The Dahaka from the Prince of Persia games.

The Dahaka enforces of the inevitability of fate. It is the guardian of the timeline, and seems to appear only when the timeline is disrupted. The Prince uses the Sands of Time to manipulate the timeline (cheating death, stopping time, etc.), rewinding time to before he stole the dagger, yet still possessing it and all the memories of the alternate timeline, allowing him to prevent the events from occurring in the first place, thus creating a paradox. This brings the wrath of the Dahaka him, its duty to kill the Prince in order to restore the timeline.

The first Resident Evil, where if you grab the shotgun of doom... you get crushed. Good thing good ol' Barry hits.

Villains? Okay, here's my fave villains:

Kefka Palazzo- FF6 Why? He's the most evil FF villain, just wanting everyone to die because he's a freaking psycho. And his laugh sticks in your head. AND HE HAS A FREAKING 17 MINUTE LONG THEME SONG IN THE SOUNDTRACK! He's a lot better than Sephy the momma's boy.

Ano Otoko (Translated is 'That Man') - Guilty Gear series Why? Well, not sure if he's a villain or not, but 'That Man' was the creator of the Gears, and is considered in GG canon to be the second most powerful entity in the world. (Second only to Slayer, whom he calls the 'Noble One') Not much is known about him, but that just makes him seem cooler, and he is indeed, awesome~ Only power demonstrated as of yet: He can create an impenetrable barrier, stopping Sol and Baiken easily. Otherwise, it's a mystery.

Raven - Guilty Gear series. Why? Just because. A dude stuck full of spikes is awesome.

I-NO - Guilty Gear XX Why? A rockin' witch with a talking hat and a penchant for causing mayhem, disorder, and death. What's not to love?

Albert Wesker - Resident Evil series Why? ...Can easily kick Krauser's -teh buttocks- in every scenario you can think of. Krauser is mortal, Wesker isn't. Krauser has a sword arm, Wesker has enhanced strength, agility, and stamina. Plus, who doesn't love those shades?

Lisa Trevor - REmake Why? Her design is ominous, and her history tragic. Plus, she was the one who was technically responsible for the RE series existing. (Will not spoil this plot element.)

Valtiel - Silent Hill 1-4 Why? He's been hinted at during SH 1 & 2, and this 'Guide to the Otherworld' finally makes his appearance in 3. He's the creature Heather encounters throughout the game, and is the creature seen dragging her away when she dies. How is he hinted at, you may ask? In SH1, the 'body bags' in Midwich Elementary School's 'Otherworld' are sacrificed people clad in the robes symbolizing Valtiel, also known as Xuchilpaba. And in SH2, 'Pyramid Head' was clad in the same robes as Valtiel, showing perhaps Pyramid Head worshiped Valtiel. IN SH4, Valtiel is only referred to by name.

Walter Sullivan - SH4 Why? He's a murderous illiterate hobo, who, in his own territory, is a god. Literally. 'Nuff said.

Just a few, I have many more, but this should suffice.

Not the first to get it, but mine's more funny:

I like NME (pronounced "en-em-ee") too. The Nightmare from Kirby games.

Edit:

Here's a video of a not so great player beating him.
