V-Starfox
While my sister was playing Starfox Adventures, she decided to go to Lightfoot Village earlier than she should've (she was supposed to be in Moon Mountain Pass), for the heck of it, and to see if she could find out anything different about the game. While there, she decided to look for the wooden blocks, and put them where they belong, so it would go faster for her, later on in the game. When she went up to the top, to put a wooden block in, we heard a strange voice, in the game. It sounded almost like a Lightfoot saying "I have risen from the dead" or something like that. Anyway, I uploaded it on Google, so you guys can see it, and help me figure out who's saying it, or if anyone else has heard the voice. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6143496311640895407 You hear the voice best when you put the volume up kinda loud. Mr. Krystal
That IS weird. I'll have to try that sometime.
Star Fox Runner
I've heard that before, you can hear it better at night when there is no music. If you listen to the voices it sounds like the Lightfoots, so I've always gone under the assumption that its the Lightfoots hiding in the mound. I can support this conclusion because up until your first official visit to Lightfoot Village, the entire village is empty and you hear the voices, and after that visit, when everyone is in the village, the voices aren't there anymore. Guest Chiro-Chan
I've done that before, but I've never heard it. o.o Creepy.
DZComposer
Methinks it's Andross. It would make sense. I need to hear it better to be sure, though. I will investigate this. *Grabs SFAd, GCN Controller and heads for the Wii* I'll see if I can get a clear audio clip.

DZComposer
It doesn't anymore. I took it a face value that that was the phrase there. I've gotten there. Forget I even said that. There are three different phrases said. They are the loudest near the totem pole. I think they are in Dino as I can not recognize any words. I will set up an audio recording in a little bit. Maybe more ears on a higher-quality recording can decipher it. Get your Dino Translators ready. EDIT: There are four phrases, actually. Listen carefully. They put more reverb on those voices than replies to the "count to one million" thread. http://www.corneriasound.com/misc/lightfootvoices.mp3 Oh, an you may want to turn up your volume a little. I had the gain at the borderline of clipping and it is still a wee bit on the quiet side.

The letter T is the most common letter in English language words and that translates to K in Saurian. I only think I heard the K sound once in that entire thing. Really they sound like glorified grunts, like languages you hear in the so-called primitive human tribes (which would fit those dinos).
foxbird22
:| Dwight's right, that's certainly not Saurian language. I can't make out any words...I wonder if Rare just decided to code random tribe-chant sound effects for that particular place? I am totally going to play Adventures and check this out...
