---Exerpt---

As they glided soundlessly through the jungle`s wildlife, Malakane started too wonder

what kind of thing could have created this sort of disturbance in the warp. he still remembered that

when he reached the planets surface and emerged through the Webway the immense pulses that hammered on his head from the warp.

Even Her`adronn did not know what caused these pulses, but something he knew about this place.

The pulses became more intense as they continued away from the hidden vault and seemingly deeper into nowhwere of the jungle too find the source.

Malakane thought too himself that he would have followed his master everywhere, even through the warp if he had too.

He had taken notice that the jungle became thicker and that his Farseer led him and his kin on an all too confident path

through the unknown jungles. He suspected that his farseer either had been here before or that he was simply following

the pulses too were they originated. Suddenly his master halted his gliding movement through the tall grass.

he made a gesture with his hand for them too come closer too him. Malakane sensed that something was wrong, and silently approached his master

in front. Her`adronn did not say a word, he only turned his head to face Malakane`s warlock helmet. The farseer could sense a slight fear within

Malakane even now. Malakane knew that his farseer could sense his fear for the unknown they were probably about to discover. Her`adronn straightened

began too continue on, now with Malakane right behind him. Malakane was scared of the unknown forces of the warp, but he knew also that he was a strong warlock

and that his powers already were very formidable against many foes. He could see that up ahead there was a sunken valley of some sort.

as they came closer to the valley they could see a mountain at the end of the long stretched valley. Her`adronn seemed

to take notice of something, and gestured for his kin too come closer too him and form a line so they could see what he could.

Malakane was right behind him and could easily see what that tensed the situation.. they came here in search of the reason for the warp pulses, not to fight a battle.

in the valley in front of them stood human Imperial troops in masses and even a small group of the massive bulky terminators he had faced once before.

all they had was a group of Ulthwe`s infameous Black Guardians and some outcasts that searched for adventure.

Malakane was too busy looking at the massive amount of enemies to notice what his Farseer did looked at.

Her`adronn made a small gesture to attract his attention and another to make him concentrate. Malakane understood perfectly what his master meant.

he now saw the leader of this small force, an inquisitor wielding a golden hammer. as he laid eyes at the humans standing at the foot of the mountain the pulses became immensely

overpowering and he almost collapsed of the thundering inside his head. Her`adronn saw that Malakane was dazing and about to fall and prevented him from falling with his hand,

Malakane felt the pulses had too originate from that cave. eventually Malakane felt the pulses go from terrible to a discomfort in his mind.

he dared another look at the humans at the foot of the mountain, and then he saw that they were scientists...

They were certainly not equipped for combat, and seemed to be placing many objects on mountain wall. Malakane asked his master quietly of what he

thought they were doing, he did not get a response from him, Her`adronn just stared at the inquisitor. The scientists suddenly left the mountainwall and suddenly all

the objects lit up in red lights, and everyone went away from the mountain wall. all the Objects suddenly flared up i a huge

explosion that shaked the entire valley and shook the ground. Malakane was the first eldar back on his feet and now saw that the scientists were trying

too break through a doorway in the mountain. Barbaric, he thought to himself thinking that that door must lead to some kind of shrine... A shrine that obviously

was meant to be hidden to others and only be opened by its creators and its descendants. the doorway still stood but it was cracked and ruined,

although from were he sat he could see some markings.. Markings that looked alot like Ancient Eldar Runes.. He turned to Her`adronn and asked if his thoughts were correct,

Her`adronn replied "yes, this is an Ancient Shrine created by our Ancestors. not bad eh`???

I understand that this is the "first edition"(all written for the first time, and I must say I am impressed. You use a lot of different words and don't stick to just a few, and that makes the story more readable. You don't simply call the persons by their name every time but use other words(like their type, race, he/she, and so on), and that is altso good. However I would think that an Eldar fears the warp because he knows how evil it is, not because of lack of knowledge about it. I don't think you mark that good enough. One last thing, I would really like to read the rest of it, it is an extremely good choice for an extract.
