Star Fox Runner
I remember flying around in training mode in Star Fox 64, and this guy's face popped up. Who is this guy, and why hasn't he appeared in any Star Fox game since Star Fox 64? He looks like a raccoon.
Guest Chiro-Chan
Ah yes, the infamous training mode dude! We never got an official name for him, or any background information. He's just sort of... there.
Mr. Krystal
From the look of the wrench in his hand, I'm guessing he's the unnamed maintenance guy on the Great Fox.
PuffNStuff
I call him Jeff!
Mr. Krystal
I call him Jeff! That's pretty good. Also acceptable: Bob, Larry.
FireFox516
I always called him 'Jack' because... I don't know.
Star Fox Runner
When I first played SF64, I thought it was a younger Fox, of course I was 5 then.

Syphe D. Mar
I always thought it was a raccoon when I was younger. Now, I think it'd be more like a tanuki, since Nintendo never uses raccoons. Anyway, I always thought he was an instructor for the Cornerian Army and the location was some moon base that's part of the Cornerian Academy using a not-so-Advanced AI Virtual Training Simulator (Unfortunately, this does not explain the wrench.). Tom, because he reminds me of Nook. This thread does not deserve a lock if someone was thinking about it.
DZComposer
Nintendo doesn't use raccoons? What is Tom Nook, then?
Syphe D. Mar
Well, he is technically a raccoon, but his name is a play of the tanuki. Eh, still a tanuki to me. XD
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
It did not spark me until now that I realize that it was actually a raccoon. All this time, it looked like a bear.[/isembarrased]
