Sounds a whole lot like the opening to Transformers.

Funny you should mention that, because I thought the narrator for the film should be Robbert Foxworth who was Admiral Leyton on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and voiced Ratchet in Transformers.

Hey guys! Maybe we should also debate on which animation studio should be aloud to do a Star Fox feature film. I think maybe DreamWorks or Warner Bros. Don't even say Walt Disney!

I think it'd be better done if it was done by an independent company instead of one of the huge mainstream ones. I mean seriously, ever since about 2003, all of the animated movies I've seen are either badly animated, have crappy humor, or are really stupid in general. Usually it's a combination of the 3. I'd like to see it done by an independent group instead.

Chiro's right. I don't think we should trust a Star Fox Movie to a huge corporation that will probably ruin it (especially Dreamworks). The only good mainstream studio is Pixar, and even they're not suited to this sort of thing it all.

Which studio would produce, you ask? None other than Absoludifilm.  :D

The people who did the animation for the final fantasy:spirits within movie could animate and then someone else could write the script.

Sure as he@# wish I could write the script.

I would love a Star Fox Movie, but lets just hope it wouldn't end up like the Super Mario Bros. movie, I liked it, but still. And don't give it to a main stream company, they'll screw it up some how.

If the let some Japanese studio make an anime Star Fox, this might be how Star Wolf would look (character models, not graphics):

I don't know if I would want it to look like an Anime. I think a good look would be like something similar to starfox assualt except better.

But WHY? I mean, yes Star Fox was created in Japan by Japanese people, but if done like anime.... just... EW. Nearly EVERY FRICKING 2D animated movie/TV show looks like anime. It's overrated, they should use something more like traditional cartooning, but maybe slightly more realistic. I found these nice concept pieces for SWAT Kats a while ago, and the style was really dynamic. I think they should do something like that instead of the whole 'woohoo anime' spiel.

Just my 2 cents.

Then what if it was done by Sunbow Productions who did the original Transformers cartoon? Transformers wasn't anime, and the art style was very good for it's time.

Another thing is in about a decade I'll be the one writing a Star Fox animated series. I'd make sure the series had the games' good balance of darkness and lightheartedness.

Do you think it would be live action or animated?

If live action, then they could try something I know is possible today. The actors playing the characters wear suits containing the characters' body parts excluding the head, and the heads are animated right onto the actors' faces.

What about that?

I think if they made it live action, it would end up looking like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie from the 90s. That was good but with Star Fox is just....... pluh.

I know. Animatronic masks seem to have lost their way.

The film would also need a good soundtrack, like Transformers did, and so did Disney and Pixar's Cars.

They should also slip in a few witty gags like, say, the Great Fox is ready to crash land somewhere, and Slippy starts praying to god. That would sound something like this. "Dear lord!! Are you there?!! This is Slippy Toad!! I promise to repent my sins!! Forgive Falco, he knows not what he does!!".

Funny, eh?
