Guest Chiro-Chan
Not really. I'd do something more along the lines of this: It's early in the morning, Falco's still tired, so he falls asleep in his food. Fox: Nice... But yea, having varying different elements in a story (like humor, action ect.) makes movies, and stories good in general.
Mr. Krystal
Forget CGI and drawn animation! Puppets! It's the only logical choice!
salmon45
Puppets. haha. I suppose there could be a puppet scene at the end during the credits just for a laugh.

ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Claymation won't work either! Also, guys, I found a video on Youtube that looks like the trailer to a Star Fox movie actually in the works. The movie's called Lylat Wars. Does it bother you that it's called Lylat Wars and not Star Fox? It might be fake, but who knows? Hopefully it won't have a limited theatrical release and flop in the box office. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I had a feeling you'd say that. A Star Fox movie probably won't be done unless we strongly request it. But to who? Maybe Michael Bay or Steven Spielberg.
salmon45
Uwe Bowl would do it. He made bad video game movies such as Blood Rayne.

Maybe Michael Bay or Steven Spielberg. I'm sorry, but let's distance ourselves from Hollywood as much as possible. What experience does either Bay or Spielberg have with animation? Spielberg may have produced various shows and The Land Before Time, but do you honestly believe that Land Before Time is what we should aim for? And Bay....Christ, don't get me started. What is wrong with making an indie? Fortunatly, I don't think Boll would be interested. He only adapts bad games.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I wasn't shooting for Land Before Time. I was kinda shooting more for Transformers, and I don't mean the family friendly Transformers tv shows.
absoludicrous91
Sorry, but not even that would work for me. Star Fox and Transformers...they don't seem to have much in common, other than being two things that you happen to like.
Four-eyed Vulpine
Star Fox and Power Rangers!  *brick'd* CGI is by far the best choice for any kind of Starfox display. Movie, series, game, anything.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Sorry, but not even that would work for me. Star Fox and Transformers...they don't seem to have much in common, other than being two things that you happen to like. I was talking about the teen oriented tone of the live action Transformers movie. As for who should direct the film, I'm running out of options here, so....George Lucas. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
What do you think the title of the movie would be? I don't think it would be Star Fox: The Movie, because the film makers would want to attract an audience besides us.
absoludicrous91
I was talking about the teen oriented tone of the live action Transformers movie. About the Transformers quote, that's not what I meant. How are Star Fox and Transformers so alike that we can make a Star Fox Movie a carbon copy of Transformers? And again, stay away from huge names for director, though it would be good to have Lucas on as a producer. As for titles, I think the film would simply be titled "Star Fox". Crazy, I know. But how about "Le charme discret de la bourgeosie"? That oughta reel in the arthouse crowd.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Why would they want the art house crowd? Wouldn't they just want guys like us who love Star Fox, as well as children and adults in general? Because that seems to be Star Fox's target audience.
absoludicrous91
Why would they want the art house crowd? They wouldn't. "Le charme discret de la bourgeosie" is an avant-garde film by Luis Bunuel. My point was that the whole "what should the title be" thing is kind of stupid. You yourself just said that we are the film's target audience; why would they want to change the title in order to reach a wider one? I could just as easily have made the "art-house crowd" any other demographic.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I meant they could just not mention that the film was originally a video game. That way, people wouldn't say stuff like "Oh sh@#! Another video game movie, just waiting to flop.". That's my biggest concern.
absoludicrous91
Mine too. But that doesn't mean we have to change the title. Since relatively few people have heard of this game (there are 300 million people in the US alone: do you really think that over half of them can identify what Star Fox is?), we could market this as being a standard Hollywood film and scarcely anyone would notice what was really going on. Aleks55
If they do make a starfox movie I hope it goes well I mean look at the Mario movie, I mean sure it was good, but it wasnt great.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I hope more that it's a commercial success, so we don't have to deal with a direct-to-DVD sequel.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Sorry for the double post, but if there was ever a Star Fox movie, I think this is what Wikipedia would say about it: Star Fox is a 2010 computer animated science fiction film by DreamWorks Animation. It is based on the popular Nintendo video game series under the same name, although the film doesn't make any note of the games it's based on. The film stars the voices of Josh Duhamel as Fox McCloud, Alec Baldwin as Wolf O'Donnell, and Leonard Nimoy as Andross. Star Fox is significant towards DreamWorks Animation, as it is considerably darker than most of it's films, and is the the first, and thus far only DreamWorks film based on a video game. The film was a huge hit at the box office, grossing $435,119,983 in the worldwide box office. It is also responsible for attracting an audience outside the Star Fox fandom. Original fans of the games praised the film for it's epic storyline and likable characters. Despite such commercial success, critics felt the film was a mere parody of the Star Wars saga, with an almost all animal cast. It currently has a 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Do you think that's what Wikipedia would see about the film? I really hope that's what they'd say about it. Hopefully the movie would be an entertaining experience by itself, not just a movie based on a video game. If they do make a starfox movie I hope it goes well I mean look at the Mario movie, I mean sure it was good, but it wasnt great. Yeah, my brother thinks Super Mario Bros. was a horrible movie. You know who else hates the movie, Bob Hoskins who played Mario. He said himself "The worst thing I ever did? Super Mario Bros. It was a nightmare. The whole experience was a nightmare.". Also, we need to decide once and for all who the director would be. Let me know if you want to talk about the above.
absoludicrous91
A. WTF Dreamworks? B. I pity the foo who cast Alec Baldwin as Wolf O'Donnell and Leonard Nimoy as Andross! C. What directors are you thinking of? Steven Spielberg has no experience in animation. Micheal Bay is one of the shittiest directors in the history of film (arguably). George Lucas can't direct well anymore.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Well, DreamWorks Animation is the only good studio I can think of. Most other studios haven't done animated movies yet. Anyway, DreamWorks Animation would be good as long as it isn't as comical and kid-friendly as Shrek. What's wrong with Leonard Nimoy as Andross? If not Leonard, then what about James Earl Jones? Besides, Michale Bay isn't that bad.....although Transformers is his only movie I actually like. Fine then, it's Steven Spielberg. Or maybe we just wait for a new generation of actors and directors to rise up so we have a bigger crop. How 'bout that?
Star Fox Runner
What's wrong with Leonard Nimoy as Andross? If not Leonard, then what about James Earl Jones? JAMES EARL JONES AS ANDROSS!? No offense, I like the guy, but if you cast him as the voice of the bad guy, your just begging for people to say it would be a cheap knock off of Star Wars since he already played Darth Vader. C. What directors are you thinking of? Steven Spielberg has no experience in animation. Micheal Bay is one of the shittiest directors in the history of film (arguably). George Lucas can't direct well anymore. I don't agree with you saying Steven Spielberg wouldn't be able to direct this, because he has experience in video games. He was the director of Medal of Honor for crying out loud.
