Four-eyed Vulpine
Inspired by the other math topics. Algebraic manipulation is my favorite.
Mr. Krystal
Though I use Algebra A LOT daily, I think the most fun math is geometry, because it's so much less abstract.
PuffNStuff
I'd have to say geo and trig. Being a future engineer, this subject is BIG in my field so I got to know a lot about it!
Four-eyed Vulpine
Actually, algebra can be fun and evil at the same time. Take a massive problem for instance. Once little mess-up, and it's all screwed up. Not to mention the apparent impossibility of finding that one little mess-up once you're done. However, if you solve a huge equation flawlessly, you feel like you're king of the world. :D
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
I love Algebra! I wish that was all I'd have to take for my major but, I had to take Calculus I and I HATED it.
Star Fox Runner
I HATE MATH ALTOGETHER! Numbers are not my strongest suit, but if I to pick, it would have to be geometry.
PuffNStuff
Chuck Norris SOLVED math
Four-eyed Vulpine
I bet a lot of people are picking geometry because of all the pretty pictures. :P
Mr. Krystal
I HATE MATH ALTOGETHER! Numbers are not my strongest suit, but if I to pick, it would have to be geometry. I suggest reading a book about some math subject. Math is actually really cool, but only if you aren't being tested on it. I recommend books like: Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea by Charles Seife (very cool appendix in this one) An Imaginary Tale: The Story of i [the square root of minus one] by Paul J. Nahin A History of Pi by Petr Beckmann
Gene Inari
Geometry and trig. And Pi is just. Billions of digits and counting!
Four-eyed Vulpine
Speaking of pi... Pi rocks. Period. So does e for that matter. :)
foxbird22
Dang it, can I un-vote? I accidentally voted for algebra...I like Calculus better. Calculus is really cool because of how you can apply differentiation and integration to the real world. Related rates pwn. EDIT: National Pi Day FTW! PuffNStuff
Chuck Norris recited all of Pi. Then he added more numbers to it.
