Enjoy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 1 Marcus McCloud's cyan eyes were shut tight as he slept. Outside his bedroom window, the sun had risen over Corneria. However, he was sleeping in this morning, for last night, the 18-year old vulpine had graduated from the Corneria Academy, and after the ceremony, attended the long party afterward. Though he enjoyed the celebration, it had exhausted him. However, his peaceful slumber was not to last. Into the room came a lovely young bundle of energy. This was Vixy McCloud, Marcus' sister. Vixy was a beautiful 15-year old. Unlike Marcus, who resembled their father, Fox McCloud, but had the fur, eyes and accent of their mother, Krystal, Vixy resembled Krystal but bore the fur and eyes of Fox, as well a head of silky reddish-blonde hair. She also boasted a feminine version of Fox's voice. Another thing that could be said of Vixy was that she was sweet and quite hyper. This last trait was the one that manifested itself that morning. "MARCUS! WAKE UP!" she exclaimed. Marcus was jolted from his sleep. He looked at Vixy. "Vix, what are you doing here?" he demanded. "Mom and Dad want you. They have something important for you to know," Vixy replied. Marcus got out of bed, showered, dryed off, got dressed and headed downstairs to the living room. "We were wondering when you would get up," Krystal said. "Vixy said you have something to tell me," Marcus answered. Fox took over from there. "Yes, Marcus. This is very important," "Important to what?'' Marcus asked. Fox smiled. "The very continuation of the McCloud name," he replied. "I don't understand," the younger fox stated. "Remember how I disbanded Team Star Fox before I married your mother?" Fox said. "Yes," Marcus replied. "Well, I've decided that it's time for the team to return, and you, my son, are heir to the McCloud legacy," Fox said proudly. Marcus was shocked. "You mean..." "That's right. You will lead a new Star Fox team," Krystal said. "Now, today I give to you a special gift. I give to you command of the Great Fox," Marcus' jaw dropped open. He was in total suprise. "As well, I'm going to take you aboard today and teach you everything you need to know," Fox continued. "When do we go?" "After breakfast. So eat and get ready," Fox said. I kinda had the same theory about what it would look like if Fox and Krystal had a son and daughter, except I thought the daughter would be named Kris. Keep up the good work. I didn't like her color in SFC. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 2 After breakfast, the McCloud family took off for the Cornerian military base. This is where the Great Fox was being held. When he saw the ship, his jaw dropped open. "That's my ship?" he asked. "Yes Marcus," Fox replied. Marcus continued glancing around as they walked closer. Soon, two figures could be seen. They were an orange male frog and a female rabbit, both around Marcus' age. The frog was Jake, son of Slippy Toad, and the rabbit was Brianna, daughter of Lucy hare and granddaughter of Peppy Hare. They saw the young blue vulpine coming and introduced themselves. "Hello," Brianna said softly. Marcus introduced himself. He then followed his father as Fox gave a detailed of the Great Fox. Marcus then had a question. "Dad, will you be the new team's advisor, like Peppy was for you?" he asked. Fox sighed. "Sorry Mark. I've got too much work at the academy. However, I know Falco's address. Hopefully, he's willing to help," he replied. "And if not?" "Then I'll find someone," Later on that day, after introductions to new people and lectures on the ship, the McClouds went home. Marcus got Falco's address and decided to go on a little walk through the neighborhood to find him. He walked out of the house and went down the sidewalk. He didn't get very far before a lovely, feminine southern accent stopped him. "Howdy sugarfox," the voice said. Marcus turned around to see a gorgeous 18-year old raccoon with long, luxurious, wavy brown hair and clad in a red sequin tanktop and blue jeans. This was his girlfriend Luby, the daughter of wealthy and famous restaurant owners Hector and Lila Marquez. They had been dating for several months and Luby had been taking flight training to hopefully join Marcus on the new SF team. "What'cha up to?" she asked. "Going to find one more person for my team," Marcus replied. "Can I come?" Luby asked. Marcus agreed and the two set off to Falco's home. When they arrived, they knocked on the door. A pink female feline answered them. Marcus recognized her. It was Katt Monroe, a former ally of his father's. "How may I help you?" Katt asked. "Is Falco here?" Marcus replied. "Come in. I'll get him," Katt said as Marcus and Luby entered the home her and Falco shared. It was in that moment that Marcus figured that they were married. Katt went down a hall.
