Mr. Krystal
I got an email today from NintendoBeyond, requesting affiliate status. I'm not so sure of it. If it was just a Nintendo site, it'd be okay, but as of now, it looks like they're still getting the plumbing working, so to speak. They seem to mostly report on how their site is coming along. What do you guys thing about Nintendo Beyond as an affiliate? http://www.nintendobeyond.us/home.htm Have some suggestions for other possible affiliates? foxbird22
Shouldn't SFO affiliates be mainly Star Fox websites? I don't really like the layout of the site (and some of the content), and if they're still getting up and running, we should let them work stuff out before we become officially "connected" to them. I think DZ PM'ed me about Star Fox Database Three becoming an affiliate. Everyone's welcome to look at it and see what they think, I guess. I really don't know how the whole affiliate thing works anyway. http://databasethree.scribblewiki.com/Main_Page (Or click the image in my sig.) Mr. Krystal
Affiliates means that both sites link to each other publically, stating in no words "we approve of the other site as a good source of information."
DZComposer
I had typed up some guidelines for being and SFO affiliate, but I can't seem to find where I saved it.
foxbird22
I think I have those guidelines in a PM you sent me. Let me find it, and I'll send it to you.
Syphe D. Mar
Mm... I don't like the looks of Nintendo Beyond. Its buttons look cheap, and I don't feel compelled to visit. As for Database Three... It looked interesting at first, but the farther I dug, the worse it looks. The way they review is terrible. Made me wonder what the discussion tab was for. The only redeeming quality is the database. Everything else just makes everything clutter. I don't have a definite "no" to this one.
Mr. Krystal
Fox6879 wants to have his site as an affiliate on our main page. His site's goal is to provide an easy chat system to find online opponents in Star Fox Command. http://greatfox6879.webs.com/ircchat.htm Yes? No? What do you think? DZComposer
I think an affiliate must be a website, not a forum or chatroom.
Mr. Krystal
I think an affiliate must be a website, not a forum or chatroom. It is a website.
Mr. Krystal
I've requested Affiliate status with GoNintendo, the best source for up to the second Nintendo news. Far superior to IGN even. Even if he doesn't agree to link to SFO, I feel it would be a service to our visitors to link to GoNintendo. Thoughts?
DZComposer
I hope they at least link to us. It would help our google ranking I bet.
