ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
By the way, this is what I think the pilot episode would look like. They could change the story to make it less predictable for us (No, I don't mean more kid friendly). It's the usual background involving James McCloud's death. Fearing what would happen to him if he went against Andross, General Pepper had Fox legally take a job as part of a recon unit. Fox is working that job a few years later. Working with him are Slippy, Fox's best friend from high school, Peppy Hare, a retired flight instructor, and Falco, an ex-con working in the crew for community service, not because he wants to. One day while recovering a small reactor core outside Corneria City, their ship is attacked by a Venomian air fleet. Andross controls Venom as a ruthless dictator, and is using propaganda to convince the Venomian population to take over Corneria, and steal it's resources for themselves. It also serves as Andross's way to get revenge on the Lylat System. Fox and the crew manage to outrun the fleet and make it back to the Cornerian military's headquarters. Venom has the Cornerian army outnumbered 4-1, so Fox comes out and suggests that he and his crew grab a set of Cornerian star fighters called Arwings, which General Pepper protests as being reckless and unwise. Considering the circumstances, Pepper has no other choice but to let Fox carry out his plan. The team takes off, takes care of a good amount of enemy ships, destroys the enemy fleet commander, and Corneria City is saved, for now. As a token of their gratitude, the Cornerian army lets Fox and his team keep the Arwings, which are repainted with a blue and white color scheme. The ship they had as a reccon unit is refitted with weaponry, and named the Great Fox. With that, the space mercenary squadron Star Fox is born. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
We still need to decide who would be the voice actors for the show. For Fox, I'm having a hard time picking out the right one. Rob Paulsen might make Fox sound too young, and David Kaye might make him sound too old. I guess David Kaye is the best option for someone to cast as Fox. They could cast Wendee Lee as Krystal, but Wendee's getting older, and...you know. Maybe Krystal would be played by Gwendoline Yeo or Jennifer Hale. I wish Casey Kasem was Peppy, but the series might not be produced in 10 years to come, and Casey might die then. Casey's turning 75 this year. He's already decided that he's too old to play Shaggy on Scooby Doo. If Casey wouldn't be able to play Peppy, then maybe Corey Burton, or Jeff Glenn Bennett. I'd really like it for Dorian Harewood to be cast as Falco. He'd probably get the voice perfectly. Harewood's used a very similar voice for Modo in Biker Mice from Mars. If not, there's always Steven J. Blum or Maurice LaMarche. They would definitely need to cast Michael Dorn as ROB, or even Frank Welker. Andross would do great with a voice provided by Frank Welker, like Frank's Dr. Claw voice, or the voice he used for the original G1 Megatron. What do you think guys? PuffNStuff
Well we could talk about who should be who but when it comes down to it, the best way to decide the plot would just to read fanfiction about it. Because they could re-tell the story, or they could start a new one. Either way for me, reading fanfiction is good enough for me. I dont think i am going to participate in this thread anymore. BTW, APOLOGIZE FOR THE DOUBLE POST FOOL! (j/k)

ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I don't know if Farra would be in the story or not. We know Fox is eventually gonna settle down with Krystal, so mybe she would be Fox's sister. Or mother. I'm still worried that the voice actors I listed...well...some of them might be dead or too old in 10 years, which is when I expect for the show to start. But, mom told me that in later generations there would be new voice actors, so I'm not that worried.
absoludicrous91
I was just saying that a Star Fox tv series would have a mixture of techno and orchestra for it's soundtrack. I'm not so sure about techno. My idea was that it could be mostly orchestra, but every episode could feature a real-world rock song, sort of like what The Sopranos did. Admit it; at least once, you've heard a song and thought of Star Fox. :nervous:
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Either that or they could do something like depending on the theme of the episode, they could have a soundtrack based on another show. Like maybe if an episode involved a lot of hand to hand combat, the soundtrack could be similar to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Another thing the series would have to try is breaking the fourth wall. Say, in one episode where Star Fox has their second battle with Star Wolf on Venom, after Pigma is shot down he says "I knew I wasn't ready for this episode!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!". AAAAAHHHHHH! *has spasmodic seizure on floor* No. No fourth wall breaking, please. Actually, now that I think about it, it wouldn't be that bad- but only if characters did it to make an aside to the viewers. Other than that, no. JediFox
If a Star Fox cartoon was to be made, it should have been back in 1994, based on the SNES Star Fox games, despite the fact that SF2 would be canned. But now is not a good idea, because it would have be based on the SF64 storyline & SFSNES is no longer canon and that would mean & :(/ . So, no go. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
It wouldn't have to be completely based on the in-game storyline. Like we said earlier, it could turn into it's own story that's on the game's same level of darkness. It could be worse. At least it wouldn't be made totally kid-friendly and borrow elements from other kids shows. That would be something like Andross being a comical yet serious mad scientist trying to take over the universe, with a robot army (Sonic X). Or maybe a ridiculous running gag like Andross's base destroyed at the end of almost every episode (Biker Mice from Mars). The biggest straw would be Pepper giving Star Fox their job on a note that blows up in his face all the time (Inspector Gadget). Just be glad that if I made the show I wouldn't do that. Mr. Krystal
Well i wouldnt watch it anyway because it's based on Adventures & i hate Adventures.  But how do you really feel. lol Anyways. I wouldn't mind a show focusing either on SF64 or Assault. Both have relatively good, straightforward stories. Command could work, but they would have to stick to one story, not nine. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
If it got to a season based on Star Fox Command, they would have to stick to any of the 9 paths that leads to Krystal going back to Star Fox for good, and Fox stops being such a worrywart thinking Krystal's gonna get killed. That seems to be the most likely sort of path. Do you think the show would have a theme song? Hopefully not with lyrics, because I can't think of any that would be good to do with Star Fox. Maybe take the ordinary Star Fox theme music and modernize it.

Rapidfire
As long as we're talking music, I think that they somehow ought to incorporate both Hajime Hirsawa's original theme (for the SNES title) as well as Koji Kondo's theme (SF64 onwards). Perhaps one could be the show's opening theme and the other could be the closing theme.
JediFox
Yeah i actualy made up some lyrics for the Star Fox SNES Theme: Ahem *gets ready to sing*: Star Fox, Flying their Arwings through space & time, They'll do whatever it takes, Oh whatever it takes, to save the day! Yeah it may be a bit corny but it's the best i can do, i have Lyrics for the whole theme song played at the credits of Star Fox SNES after the Boss Roll. And I could make lyrics for the Boss Roll & Game clear & last stage clear music themes

JediFox
Back to what the show's premise would be. It could be something like this: This way it would still have a connection to the games. Do you think this would be a good opening story to the show? Yeah i like it. If a Star Fox cartoon was to be made in 1994, it would be based on Star Fox SNES & Star Fox 2. With a couple of similar aspects to Bucky O'Hare, Star Wars & the Nintendo Power Star Fox comics. Yeah Four-eyed Vulpine. It should definitely be a CGI animated series. That's how most Star Fox games are animated. As for the studio, I think it should be done by DiC Entertainment, or 4Kids. Don't get too mad at me for saying that. I'm only interested in the very ideas of 4Kids doing a Star Fox Saturday morning cartoon because they've got some very good voice actors, most of which you probably haven't heard of. If it was 4Kids, the voice cast would look something like this; Fox McCloud: Frank Frankson Falco Lombardi: David Wills Peppy Hare: Ted Lewis Slippy Toad: Andrew Rannels ROB 64: Scottie Ray Krystal: Veronica Taylor General Pepper: David Zen Mansley Beltino Toad: Sean Schemmel Katt Monroe: Bella Hudson Bill Grey: David Wills Lucy Hare: Bella Hudson Amanda: Lisa Ortiz Dash Bowman: Jason Anthony Griffith James McCloud: Frank Frankson Wolf O'Donnell: Dan Green Leon Powalski: Marc Thompson Pigma Dengar: Mike Pollock Andrew Oikonny: Ted Lewis Panther Caruso: Scottie Ray Andross: Mike Pollock General Scales: Greg Carey Aparoid Queen: Unknown Emperor Anglar: Maddie Blaustein If the show was done by another studio, this is how I think the cast layout would be; Fox McCloud: Kevin Michael Richardson Falco Lombardi: Steven J Blum Peppy Hare: Jeff Bennett Slippy Toad: Brian Drummond ROB 64: David Kaye Krystal: Gwendoline Yeo General Pepper: Richard Newman Beltino Toad: Frank Welker Katt Monroe: Wendee Lee Bill Grey: Paul St. Peter Lucy Hare: Jennifer Hale Amanda: Mindy Cohn Tricky: Corey Burton Dash Bowman: Corey Burton James McCloud: Steven J Blum Wolf O'Donnell: Brian Dobson Leon Powalski: Michael Dobson Pigma Dengar: Paul Dobson Andrew Oikonny: Rob Paulsen Panther Caruso: Jim Cummings Andross: David Kaye General Scales: Jim Cummings Aparoid Queen: Susan Blu Emperor Anglar: Frank Welker Reply again to tell me what you think of my casting choices for either company. Dic Entertianment is the way to go, IMO they have done some cartoons very nicely, take Sonic SatAM for an example, a great DIC cartoon. 4Kids is terrible, and they are not cartoon makers, they translate anime so it can be watched by young children. Hence the name 4kids. Anime sucks anyway.

ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Hey guys, if any of the voice actors for the show are aging vets (Like Peter Cullen, Casey Kasem, and Frank Welker), and if the show's not done until a decade from now, and some of those guys reached their 80s, what would the show do if some of them die? They would probably dedicate the actor's last role in the series to him. Personally, I hope Casey Kasem never dies. I know it will happen eventually like everybody else, but how do you guys think that would work out? Say, if Casey Kasem is Peppy, and he dies half way through the show's airing run (Hopefully he wouldn't), would they just replace him and cast different actors in Casey's parts? Probably not, because that sounds kind of insensitive.

Probably not, because that sounds kind of insensitive. There will be new voice actors that do voices very nicely, so don't panic. My imaginary 1994 SNES Star Fox based cartoon has these voice actors: Fox McCloud Jr. - Doug Parker Slippy Toad - John Stocker Falco Lombardi - Danny Wells Peppy Hare - Tony Rosato Miyu Starfire - Margot Pinvidic Fay Pepper - Tracy Moore General Pepper - Gary Chalk Wolf O'Donnel - Gary Chalk Leon Powalski - Gary Chalk Pigma Dengar - Garry Chalk Algy Oikonny (Andrew Oikonny) - Phil Hayes Andross - Richard Newman ROBFX (ROB64) - Terry Klassen Fox McCloud Sr. (James McCloud) - Doug Parker For those who don't know Doug Parker is, he did the voice of Bucky in Bucky O'Hare. I thought Doug Parker would do a nice voice for Fox just how he did with Bucky. Oh and Starfire & Pepper are my fan surnames for Miyu & Fay. ROBFX is my SFSNES version of ROB64.
