Mr. Krystal
We already know the grown up themes in Star Fox. They have things like the death of James McCloud, and pretty much every character casualty there's been in the series so far. Maybe have Fox and Krystal finally kiss at the end of the series, and I mean "open mouth". Real lusty love stuff. I know a Star Fox cartoon would generally target children ages 7/8 and up, but just in case it causes a public outcry from viewers, let's not have a scene at the end of the series depicting Wolf's death. Wolf might not die, he's too popular of a villain. In the game, sure, but if it were made a Saturday morning cartoon, a lot of those things would either be ignored or downplayed in favor of stories like, "Fox helps Tricky find the missing flames" episode. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
That sounds like one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of. I can come up with a pretend list of episodes right now. Season 1 (15 Episodes) 1. The Beginning: Star Fox battles a Venomian fleet that invades Corneria. 2. Secret Weapon: Andross's newest weapon, Spyborg, malfunctions and goes on a rampage. 3. Reunion on Katina: Star Fox helps Bill Grey and his troops protect a Cornerian military base under fire. 4. Bio-Hazardous: Andross creates bio weapons to use for his conquest. 5. Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Star Wolf: Andross hires Star Wolf, a squadron rivaling Star Fox, to destroy Fox and his team. 6. Breaking the Defences: Star Fox must destroy Venom's defense sattelite, the Bolse station. 7. Andross: Fox finally confronts Andross, the evil scientist who's trying to control the Lylat System. 8. Not Again?! Andross is discovered to have survived his encounter with Fox, meaning more enemies are to come. 9. Battle Base Meteor: Star Fox must venture through an asteroid belt to destroy Andross's new base. 10. Monster of the Deep: Baccoon, Andross's new bio-weapon, causes chaos on the marine planet, Aqaus. 11. No Dumping: The Venomian army's activities on Zoness fill the planet with lethal polution. 13. Tanks for Nothing: Fox uses the Landmaster to fight an enemy train on Macbeth. 14. Andross's Revenge (Part 1): Star Fox starts a route to Venom to face Andross once more. 15. Andross's Revenge (Part 2): Fox finally faces Andross for real. Season 2 (12 Episodes) 16. Farewell Falco: An incident on Titania may drive Falco away from Star Fox. 17. Krystal: A young Vixen named Krystal travels to Sauria, searching for answers about her past. 18. Mission to Sauria: Star Fox decides to take the job of saving Sauria, to prevent it from exploding. 19. Fire and Ice: Fox and Tricky head to Dark Ice Mines to retrieve one of the 4 Spell Stones. 20. Damsill in Distress: While putting back the first Spell Stone at the Volcano Force Point, Fox and Tricky learn about another crisis. 21. Storm the Fortress: Fox must help a dinosaur tribe called the Cloudrunners, and retrieve the second Spell Stone. 22. Hostile Locals: Fox runs in with the Lightfoot tribe, and must past their tests to earn a valuable prize. 23. Tricky's Father: It's up to Fox and Tricky to help rescue Tricky's father, and defeat the Redeye tribe. 24. What's Star Wolf Been Up To?: Wolf fires Pigma from Star Wolf, and the rest of the team goes looking for a replacement. 25. And Then There Was One: Fox and Tricky now have only one Spell Stone to tackle. 26. It Didn't Work: Placing all the Spell Stone doesn't completely get the job done. 27. Showdown in the Stars: Fox discovers who's truly behind the Sauria crisis. Season 3 (12 Episodes) 28. Oikonny Takes Over: Oikonny takes command of the remants of the Venomian army, and fights to avenge Andross's death. 29. A New Threat Emerges: Star Fox battle Oikonny's fleet a second time, and encounter mysterious creatures on Fortuna. 30. The Core Memory: An important object is required for the Cornerian amry to learn more about the Aparoids. 31. Star Wolf's Reveng: Star Wolf attacks Star Fox when they invade a hideout full of criminals. 32. Eye of the Storm: A blizzard on Fichina hinders Star Fox's fight against the Aparoids. 33. Infected: Star Fox's next mission may bring tragedy to an old acquaintance. 34. Saving Sauria: Sauria is invaded by Aparoids, who attempt to assimilate the planet. 35. War Comes Home: Corneria City is heavily damaged and taken over by Aparoids. 36. The Program: Beltino invents a special program that may destroy the Aparoids for good. 37. Unlikely Allies: Star Fox and Star Wolf team up to finish off the Aparoids. Season 4 (13 Episodes) 40. Break Up: Star Fox breaks, and each pilot begins a new life. 41. On My Own: Fox decides to take on an Anglar invasion by himself. 42. Hold Firm Katina: Falco and Slippy help Bill defend Katina from the Anglars. 43. Fog of War: Star Fox must defeat Oikonny's new armada on Fichina, and meet Peppy's daughter. 44. Slippy's Fiance: Slippy reveals a little romance he stirred up when he left the team. 45. General Peppy: Star Fox assists Peppy, now the Cornerian military leader, in combating an enemy invasion. 46. Krystal: Star Fox meets Krystal on Katina, and learn some shocking news. 47. Andross's Leftovers: Andross, the team's old foe, has left behind something that could stop the Anglars. 48. Anglar: Star Fox encounters the enemy stronghold on Venom. 49. Blast from the Past: Star Fox learns that Pigma is somehow still alive. 50. Fight on Fichina: Another battle on Fichina leads to another encounter with Star Wolf. 51. Space Chase (Part 1): Star Fox tracks down the Anglar Emperor for the final showdown. 52. Space Chase (Part 2): Star Fox is lead to Venom to finally defeat the Anglars. That's probably how I can think the show's original run would be framed out, unless it managed to surpass 52 episodes.
JediFox
Well it is too late to make a Star Fox cartoon now, because it any offfical Star Fox stuff made now has to be based on the Star Fox 64-Command storyline. (I do like Star Fox 64, i just hate the all the Star Fox games made in 2000-2008.) They pretty much wasted their chance to make one, back in 1994 & 1995. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Well, that's your opinion, but if it's just going to be negative about the thread in general, just don't post here anymore.
absoludicrous91
We already know the grown up themes in Star Fox. I'm sure that these themes would easily shine through on a show sharing a timeslot with Spongebob Squarepants and Pokemon. Also, what does Wolf's being killed off have to do with keep fans happy with the show's maturity? My evil vision is that we put the toon on Adult Swim. Then, we can put lite-brites with Wolf on them all over Boston and get arrested 'cos the people will think we're terrorists. Who's with me? Anyway, I agree with Puff's opinion that it should be on primetime. Animation on primetime really isn't that unfamiliar, but it may be risky having a non-comedy show in that slot. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Prime time as in in the afternoon everyday? That sounds good. I think that was Biker Mice from Mars' time slot back in the day. It still wouldn't have to be an Adult Swim sort of show. It could still be targeted to the same audience as TailSpin, SWAT Kats, or Transformers.
absoludicrous91
Ay ay ay... "The generally accepted times considered to be traditional prime time are 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Central and Mountain Monday–Saturday."-Wikipedia
PuffNStuff
i'd say the general target audience would be 14 and up. BTW ur love for transformers is really making me wish they were never created.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I still don't think it would be rated 14+. That doesn't seem like the kinda game Star Fox is. It could just go for a PG rating. If not for profanity, then at least for violence and death. That's kind how Batman in the 1960s worked, but without any character deaths. absoludicrous91
AC3987, can I ask you a question? Is this hypothetical show the one you think would be made, or the one you want to be made? If it were up to me, I would try to stay away from things like the 1960s Batman. That show is fun in its dumb way, but, frankly, would be way too cheesy and dated for aught-eight. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
I didn't mean the cheesy humor, I meant the level of violence, and maybe a bit more. Next thing you know the show is broadcast at 8:00 PM every Friday night, and before it comes on, they tell you "The following program is rated PG for scenes of violence. Viewer discretion is advised.". Some shows are even rated 14+ and don't have profanity, such as the short lived The Ripping Friends, which was rated 14+ for it's excessively crude humor, and had no cursing at all, except when a character named Rip was called a jacka@# in one episode. ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Sorry for a double post, but do you think that in the show's second season based on Star Fox Adventures, do you think one episode would be used to explain what Falco was doing while he was away from Star Fox? That would be a good idea. Again with the content, the show would have to have stuff that was already in the games. We might not have an episode where Wolf says "Da@# you Fox McCloud!!" before he crashes. It just wouldn't fit with the cast of characters that well. Maybe it would, and probably a little bit of sexualized humor, like Falco using a set of binoculars to star at Krystal's butt. Let me know what you guys think.
