Thanks Dwight! Since you don't get the joke, I'll have to tell you this. Krystal hit Falco in the face because he made a crude remark. So apparently, Krystal doesn't like crude comments about her.

I didn't get the rude comment. I didn't understand it. I mean, I sorta understood what he was saying, but the sentence structure baffled me.

This is a picture of Fox I really wanted to do.

Fox_McCloud__HDWR_by_TransformerRobot.jp

I'll color it later, so you'll have to deal with this version for now. I put in a bit more realism in this time, so it would give you the feeling  of what Fox is doing here. I hope he looks angry enough.

They're not his lips Puff. He's grimacing with anger because, well, he's in some sort of dangerous, violent situation.

Hmm... Could use work, but gots potential, I can tell you that. Heh, in order to differentiate between teeth and lips, try practicing on fangs. XD I remember back when I was first trying to draw. 'twas pathetic, but I got better, in case my av didn't tell ya. >.> <.< >.> Just keep practicing... study anatomy of males and females, and for anthros, try studying the corresponding anthro, or you could get some ref pics of the Star Fox crew. As they say, 'practice makes perfect', except, in this case 'practice makes art steadily look better'~

It's not the final version, so I can still change Fox's teeth. Maybe I could do his teeth in the style of the Star Fox: Assault Fox. They were powerful looking teeth I tell ya!!

Here's the completed version!

I made Fox's teeth look much more canine, and I made everything on his belt metal.

*nods* Heh, somewhat of an improvement. XD Now all you need is better perspective and proportions/anatomy, but that should come with time. :D

Thanks, but I actually liked having it that way. What anatomy problems do I have?

Shoulders are incredibly straight, as is his body. Needs improvements in general all across his body, but, I'm assuming you've only recently started drawing. Practice, take some art classes if you're able to. XD Also, try to practice shading, for it adds nifty effects. But you colour better than I do, at least. XDDDD

Thanks Doc  :D, I'm still having a hard time with male shoulders and upper bodies. You're also right about me and shading techniques. My mom keeps telling me to try that, but I don't really listen.

Sorry about the double post, but I just wanted to let you know that I've decided to try coloring in my works with Photoshop. For starters, I'm using Photoshop to re-vamp the color in my first picture. Do you guys think this is showing creativity? After all, I am trying to improve something I did awhile ago.

Ok, you can quit trying to impress us now. Do we look like art teachers? No. Creativity is what you make it, because it is YOU whom you are expressing. No one is going to grade you, unless you really want them too.

I know that, but I want to get my artwork to certain qualities if I want some more replies.

Replies should be only secondary if you want to improve in art.

I've seen too many cases when people simply sell themselves out and have no real zeal for art after reaching a certain point. I'm currently in a bit of a scuffle with an acquaintance and their fans because they are selling themselves out.

You're trying to impress too much, I would advise to look at objects in the real world and draw them. Studying things like still life is the first key to really unlocking artistic skills. You gotta understand the beauty in everything.

Yeah, and Dwight once told me "quality over quantity.". Anyway, what sort of quality do you think I'd end up with using Photoshop to color the pictures in?

The quality depends on your own art skill. The more skill you have in art the more adaptable you are to different programs, mediums, etc. A lot of it is self-discovery.

Drawing and coloring images (at least when dealing with digital art) are two entirely different processes. It's possible to be good at one and horrible at another. Be prepared to start from the beginning again.

Just a little heads up for you guys, I'm doing another Star Fox related pic, and you'll be happy to know that I've including Andross in it. Just wait until I get it done and it'll be here.

Proportions do seem to be better. Good job on that. There's still some way to go on that front though. Also, his arm is severely dislocated.

:? What?

EDIT:

I don't think it's dislocated. That depends on how you look at it. His arm may not be dislocated, but if it was in that sort of position it would hurt a bit. Guess Fox has lots of stamina in his shoulders.
