Guest Bugga62
Well, there was some info in my latest issue of GI about Brawl, when looking through the trophies and new characters (Snake ftw) I did not see Krystal listed. Could she not be in Brawl after all? (Hey! That rhymes) I don't want to offend anyone, but that's just my theroy. But then again, maybe Nintendo told the GI staff to keep it a secret... Mr. Krystal
GI is not the ultimate authority on who will be in Brawl. They just report what Nintendo announces. We will know soon enough if Krystal is in Brawl or not. However, until the game is out, it will be impossible to confirm that she is NOT in the game, because Nintendo has yet to announce what WON'T be in the game. They only announce what WILL be in the game, so until we get that update on the Official Site or otherwise an announcement by Nintendo, anything else is just speculation. DZComposer
A voice actress leaked that she had voiced Krystal for SSBB on her site, but Nintendo made her remove the statement. It didn't go beyond saying that. So, incredibly high chance she at least makes an appearance. Sadly, the Dojo stopped doing character reveals around that time. Anyone else notice that the Dojo updates have gotten lame lately?
Rapidfire
Anyone else notice that the Dojo updates have gotten lame lately? I kind of want to blame that on whoever is responsible for including Sonic in Brawl. Though circumstantial, there was an increasing slowdown in revelations for characters and stages following Sonic's announcement; instead, there were more announcements of game modes and play styles (telling us how to use the Wiimote was good and all, but it wasn't necessary to remind us how target testing or classic mode operates). It's possible that Sonic was announced so late because permission to include him came so late; ergo, Nintendo had to pull a delay to do justice to the Sonic universe. The net effect was a need to stretch out announcements, for it wasn't anticipated that announcements would be ongoing for another three months. But that's only a hypothesis of someone who's trusted neither Sega nor Sonic Team in years. :D
DZComposer
I doubt the inclusion of Sonic caused the delay. Sega's involvement in this is minimal at most. With how big the roster is rumored to be, they could have continued revealing characters on at least a bi-weekly basis. There are some notable names missing from the confirmed list, so I know there are definitely more characters than we know of now.

Dr. Wilopolis
Ah, I don't really know, personally don't care if she's in. I wouldn't play her for anything other than completion purposes. But Wolf is more deserving of the spot. Well, in my personal opinion.
Aleks55
Krystal is probably only going to be in the story mode like a voice clip in Fox's Awring or something

Dr. Wilopolis
Why should it? Brawl... well, will be awesome, no matter if Krystal is in it or not.
Mr. Krystal
Why should it? Brawl... well, will be awesome, no matter if Krystal is in it or not. True. However, your earlier statement about Krystal "I wouldn't play her for anything other than completion purposes." is silly. How do you know what character you will prefer before you play the game? I didn't think I would be so good with Jigglypuff when I first started playing Melee, nor Kirby for the original. Hold off judgement of what characters you will use until you actually have a chance to try them.

Krystal, no matter how I think of it, wouldn't match my style, either. Because I know she'd prolly be projectile-heavy, game-play wise. And I'm more for RTSD. (Rush That Sh!t Down!) Which is why I main Peach/Fox. XD
Rapidfire
Hear, hear for the aggression style of play! However, what's wrong with a projectile-heavy character? Fox can play as projectile-heavy, and Peach even more so the last time I checked...
Dr. Wilopolis
Turnips are just to augment Peach's rushdown. She uses them to force enemies to defend, then rushes in to juggle. Fox MAY act projectile heavy, but he MUST rushdown eventually. And besides.... I believe I stated I don't like Krystal much anymore. >.> <.<
Rapidfire
I suppose from that perspective, most characters aren't reliant on projectiles anyway. But if I had to figure between Krystal being more long-range or more melee, I would think the latter. It would at least make sense for her to have most of her attacks concentrated in using her staff, if only to differentiate her from other characters. Dr. Wilopolis
I dunno. Her actual proficiency with it is questionable. I've only seen her cast magic, using it as a focus. =P Afterwards, she clearly seemed to get rid of it. I mean, honestly... Fox is proficient with it not because of her, but because of his martial art proficiency. (Trust me, the moves he does is a result of vigorous training with martial arts.) PuffNStuff
I often wonder when they will introduce her staff back into the series. They had it in adventures and they just dropped it.
Mr. Krystal
If Krystal didn't have it with her in her Arwing at the end of Assault, we can assume that it was destroyed along with most of the original Great Fox.
Steve
I'd say, she has a 0-40% to be in.
Infinity
My guess for this would be about 50-70% chance. The voice actress conformation makes me 95% sure krystal will be at least an assist trophy, if not playable. In comparison to the ATs and expected playable characters that became pokéballs... I think Krystal's popularity exceeds theirs. With Sakurai though you never know what to expect. No good gossip or rumors lately *sigh*
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
She could have her staff in the game. I don't know about you, but I think that staff could be indestructable, so it wasn't destroyed when the original Great Fox blew up.
