Mr. Krystal
I posted a weekend fan creation last week about the University of Maryland’s Gamer Symphony Orchestra's playing of a Star Fox tune. Well, tonight, they sent me a letter, and I thought I'd post it for all to see. Looks like higher quality versions are available on their site. The post: http://starfox-online.net/2007/12/14/weekend-fan-creation-20/ The letter: Hello, I'm Greg Cox, one of the conductors of the University of Maryland Gamer Symphony Orchestra (GSO), and I just wanted to thank you for featuring us on your site. And, to give a little bit of information about us, the GSO is an all-volunteer student group that arranges and plays music from video games--simple enough, yes? If you'd like more information (and some higher-quality recordings than those on YouTube), you can look here: http://www.umgso.com/ And, of course, I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Again, thank you very much, we really appreciate your attention. Happy holidays! -- Greg Cox UMD
