Stuff that confuses me.

1. Why does the voices have metallic overtones in gameplay and cutscenes, but not in FMV's? (Might be trying to recreate the distortion of a communicator, but what do i know?)

2. 2 voice clips sounds different then they should.

Orbital Gate/Peppy: Do your best! We can't let them take this position!

Fichina/Falco: Let's waste these suckers and hunt down Pigma!

Falco's second voice was... gah! Don't even wanna listen to it.

3. Why did Fox owe Wolf an apology?

4. At the beggining of the Asteroid Belt, why was the Wolfen's drifting there?

Seriously, Namco seem to like putting unexplained stuff in the game, good luck answering at least 2 of these.

well i guess that the wolfen were drifting there becauze they had to bail out.. get away.. maybe they hunted pigma or something.. and encountered lots of aparoids and had to escape? or maybe they encountered pigma.. u do know how he is on that level?? didnt get the others

Yeah, possibly. But why would they wanna hunt Pigma?

Oh well, what most confuses me is the metallic overtone in the voices. Most notable: Fox/ "It's to quiet." .

I think the reason the voices sometimes don't match up to the characters' facial movements is because games are often standardized when it comes to the graphics. The voices are added later. That means that the same graphics are used with Japanese voicing and English.

Fox wanted to go after Pigma when he stole the Aparoid Core thing.

Fox owed Wolf an apology because Wolf helped him in Corneria when helping to save both Fox and General Pepper from the Apariods.

I'm not talking about lip sync, i'm talking about the metallic noise in every voice clip.

Fox wanted to go after Pigma when he stole the Aparoid Core thing.

Umm... we're talking about Wolf...

Fox owed Wolf an apology because Wolf helped him in Corneria when helping to save both Fox and General Pepper from the Apariods.

Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't Sargasso before Corneria?

Yeah, maybe. But it sounds so personal when Wolf says that, dont'cha think?

Well as for the metallic voices it could be the sound studio.

If the voice actors used one sound studio for the cut scenes and another for the in game sound bytes that may be the reason why the sound bytes were metallic sounding.

Personally, I didn't hear a big difference between the cut scenes and the sound bytes.

I think you answered your own question. :)

"2. 2 voice clips sounds different then they should.

Never noticed this.

"3. Why did Fox owe Wolf an apology?"

Fox only invaded Wolf's Hideout.

"4. At the beggining of the Asteroid Belt, why was the Wolfen's drifting there?"

In the final cutscene of Sargasso, you can tell that Wolf doesn't think very highly of Pigma. They probabaly went chasing after him themselves. As far as what happened to them, who knows.

Ok, thanks for the answers, but i'm still confused with the switch of voices with Peppy and Falco. :? Were they having a bad day? >_>

Play until you get to the Fichina boss. Right after Krystal says "That vile Pigma, he won't get away with this!", Falco will either say "It's not holding anything back!" or "Let's waste these suckers and hunt down Pigma!". If you hear the first alternative, restart, because it won't come back.

Difficulties does not matter. But recommend bronze since it's faster to finish.
