A Star Fox comic book?

I think if Star Fox doesn't get a cartoon adaption yet, then maybe a comic book. I know Jedifox would be up for the idea because it could reuse the storyline for the 1992-1993 Nintendo Power Star Fox comics. Guys, let me know what you think.

Comic book series? It would be nice if they reused that storyline, but it may confuse people who never played Star Fox SNES or/and read the 93' comics, unless it takes a couple of elements from the Star Fox 64 plot. One example is what happened to James McCloud.

But i'd get POed and kick the people who made the comic in the "u-no-what" for replacing Fara with Krystal.

No offense, but Fara's old news! I don't think she's as good looking as Krystal. If they did have Fara in there, then at least maybe as Fox's mother. At least Fara Phionix is a nicer name than Vixy Reynard.

Um, it doesn't matter what the characters *look like* you know...

And Star Fox has had several comics. There were the old 1992 Nintendo Power comics by Benimaru Itoh, and 2 others, whos authors and artists are unknown, a few Japanese gag comics I've seen for Star Fox Adventures, and I've heard rumors that more have been done as well.

More have been done? I've seen other Star Fox comics besides the 3 game based series', but they were someone's story on deviantART. It was about how things went when Krystal became a part of Star Fox.

A number of good comics are already been drawn by various artists on Deviantart.

Hey ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987, try to be a bit more careful when talking about other characters in the SF universe. I understand that you're a big fan of Krystal 'n all and so am I and a lot of people here. Also, try to add a bit more to the thread instead of "most of them were LOL". We appreciate your enthusiasm towards SF comics, but we'd appreciate it if you would at least elaborate a little why they were laugh out loud worthy.

Heck, I've been practicing a lot in art so I can do a Krystal comic half-decently, that is why you don't see me here much recently.

It takes quite some time to come up with a good plot and enough skill to back it.

Well, if you insist then, I think most of them are lol because they were absurd and ridiculous, like SpongeBob.

Err... Since when does looks matter? Fara had a more... interesting personality than Krystal. XD

Anyway, yeah, I wish I could do an SF comic some time. (Or even a freaking fighting game. :D) But who knows what the future may hold, amirite?

Well, anyway, enough about the whole Krystal VS. Fara thing.

If Star Fox did get another comic book, who do you think would do it? Marve? DC? Dark Horse? How about IDW Publishing?

Probably some group of Japanese people. Oh, there's also a bunch of fan comics done in Japan, but I've never seen any translated besides the 3 on Arwing Landing, and the 4Koma gags.

I'd like to do my own comics, but I never have the time or motivation to do so. D=

It would probably start as a manga first.

Except manga is Japanese, and it reads from right to left instead of left to right, although some manga originates in color.

Anyway, would a Star Fox comic book follow the current Star Fox chronology, would follow and continue the story of the

Nintendo Power comics, or would it have an original storyline of it's own?

That's the only difference between a manga and a comic book. 'Manga' is Japanese for 'comic book' or 'magazine', since most comics are featured in magazines over there. I went there a few years ago, and aside from being mostly black and white, reading in a different direction, and not being in English, they're almost the same as those old comic books they sold in the 30's and 40's.

And I'm not sure. It depends on the writer, first of all, and if it's official or not.

Well, if it was official, it would serve as a good way for Nintendo to explain say, the 8 year gap between Star Fox 64 and

Star Fox Adventures, or finally explaining what happened to Cerinia. I've been itching to know what happened ever since I first played Star Fox Adventures, and sometimes I wish the answer is "Everybody's alive.".

What do you think the title would be? Would it be Star Fox by itself, or how about Star Fox Sagas, like that fan comic?
