You just won't let that idea go will ya Puff?

Anyway, definitely Bill Paxton as Bill, he does southern accents, and a lot of the movies hes in has his character named Bill.

Again, it would still be rated PG-13 because of mild language, and kids don't wanna watch an animated movie where the bad guy turns into a "Giant icky brain!! WAAAAAAA!!!". They could also have a scene where Wolf is so sick of Pigma, he stabs him and kills him.

We should still decide on what songs would be most likely. For Fox or James I was thinking of "Dare" and "The Touch" by Stan Bush because they're both about heroism, and "Carry On" in the end credits because it pretty much sums up Fox's life up until James died.

I would jump to the conclution of you being a transformers fan, but those are 2 canny good songs, esp for grand escape scenes.

I'd say warriors of the world by... someone. Great song, fits well with warhammer, but might be a little to much for SF. I wanted to use only chip tunes for Sci Fi film, but it's hard to fand music that worlks well with action. Comedy and tradagy, easy, but not action.

Anything from the Star Fox OSTs would work I think. :leon:

Of course I'm a Transformers fan!  :krystal: Where else do you think I heard the songs?

Anyway, a great song they should use for Star Wolf is "Instruments of Destruction" by Spectre General. Very dark subject matter, especially because Wolf is the type of character you'd expect to break into a room full of Cornerian soldiers and shoot the place up. Heck, I wish they could fit Weird-Al Yackovich's "Dare To Be Stupid" in the movie some how, like for maybe the part of Star Fox 64 when Slippy's grabbed by the parasite monster on Titania. Plus, it be good for that scene if Slippy started acting goofy.

This is where I think each song would be played in the movie, based on what the scene is about:

-Dare (Fox training to be a pilot)

-Nothing's Gonna Stand In Our Way (Andross's attack on Corneria)

-Instruments of Destruction (First demonstration of Star Wolf's vicious behavior, especially Wolf)

-Hunger (First Star Wolf fight. Star Wolf theme used in the second fight near the end)

-The Touch (Escape from Venom after Andross is killed)

Do you think if the movie is CGI that the characters should be designed and animated to look like their real life animal counterparts, or should it just be the Walt Disney/Don Bluth sort of style from Smash Bros. Brawl? Here's all the animals that I think the animal characters would be modeled after.

Well? Think my theory of realistic animation styles is good for Star Fox?

Definitely a series.

If it was a game-film, I can imagine it being a failure, like most flicks based on video games.

I don't know how they'd do it, if it was animated or done in CG, Sure, but if it was live action I think I'd have to kill myself.

>_<;;

An anime series wouldn't go amiss, Starfox and it's high-octane action and individual personalities are well suited to it. Plus it's humorous at the same time, it'd be awesome.

F-Zero, Pokemon and Mario got one, so why not SF?

Uwe Boll will hopfully be going away soon, so things should improve.

Then I guess would you be interested in the idea I came up with a while ago? Where we form our own CGI animation studio and make a Star Fox tv series?

EDIT:

I think that if we weren't gonna make the show 3-D, we could always try THIS art style. This is a very good art style, especially for Star Fox. Right?

I thought it suited the Star Fox storyline. Oh wait, do you mean what art style we would use?

Oh no, I couldn't I don't know where to start with that kind of thing, I'm only 17 haha. I'll leave it to the professionals. But I was thinking of starting a SF comic soon.

I think it'd flop but hey, at least I don't have to add extreme detail to the characters ^_^

The show wouldn't flop, as long as we pick the right target audience.

Well, just to make the in-game storylines more fresh, certain characters will need they're back stories changed slightly.

Krystal: Raised by a salamander named Randorn, who escaped Cerinia's destruction with her when she was a baby. Eight years later, after explaining to Krystal what happened to their home world, Randorn was interrogated and killed by Venomian soldiers, leaving Krystal to run away and fend for herself. Years later, Krystal is looking for any other surviving Cerinians, and receives a distress call from Sauria. With the help of a Cloudrunner named Kyte, and after losing her staff, she lands on a strange floating galleon where she encounters General Scales. Scales throws Krystal overboard, and at the same time she grabs his key to Krazoa Palace. Kyte catches Krystal and takes her to the palace, and while she heals the injured Earthwalker soldiers, she completes the Test of Observation, and releases the first Krazoa Spirits. Unfortunately, after she does, Krystal is chased away by the ghost of what looks like Andross. When Krystal and Kyte escape Krazoa Palace, they're captured by the Sharpclaws. Krystal escapes when the Sharpclaw land on Sauria, and goes looking for help. After arriving at Thorntail Hollow, she meets Fox by accidentally colliding heads with him. For the rest of the Sauria mission, Krystal proves valuable help to Fox and Tricky. After Fox and Falco's battle with Andross, Krystal is told by the Krazoa that there other Cerinians still out there, scattered across the cosmos. Fox and Krystal's relationship has it's ups and downs, but at the end of the series they get married.

Wolf: Originally in the Cornerian Air Force with James McCloud. Wolf betrayed James McCloud and killed him. Wolf went on to become a cruel officer in Andross's forces, who referred to him as "General O'Donnell". Wolf takes orders from Andross to start various operations against Corneria, but is constantly defeated by James' son, Fox, who has formed the Star Fox team. After the first season, Wolf forms his own version of Star Fox as a squadron in Venom's air forces. He gathers Leon Powalski, his sly hit man, Captain Pigma Dengar, a bungling space pirate, and Andrew Oikonny, Andross's mad scientist nephew. Star Wolf proves very threatening to Star Fox, but is defeated many times. During Fox's first encounter with Wolf, Wolf's first lines to him are "Oh, I see, you're James McCloud's son, and you fancy yourself his successor!". At the end of the series, Wolf is killed, with his final lines being "This isn't the end. One day.....One day....Someone will rise up and take my place!!", before getting vaporized in an explosion.

Andross: Seeking power and total dominance of others, Andross forms an army on Venom to begin conquest of the Lylat System. Andross is thought to be dead after his first fight with Fox on Venom, but turns out to be alive by season 2. In the season 2 finale, Andross dies for real. He comes back in season 3 and is killed again. In the final season, the Andross that Star Fox fought over the years turns out to be a decoy, and the real Andross is the same planet destroying monster that tore apart Cerinia. Andross destroyed Cerinia because it's people have the only thing that can kill him; the Krazoa. Fox enters Andross' body, breaks open a jewel containing the strongest Krazoa energy, which destroys Andross, ending the series.

You know, despite what Star Fox is right now content-wise, I still see it getting just a C8/Y7 rating. I mean, remember how many characters are killed in Dragon Ball Z? Or how about Biker Mice from Mars? There were a few incidents where characters used the term "Shove it!", or a scene in episode 2 where Vinnie tells Charley (The girl) "Turn around, and let me see the back!".

Since we are probably the most competent people to make a show about Star Fox, we should also discuss which of of us should play which characters, unless we hire outside actors. First off, who here thinks they could do General Pepper's voice?

O.o

You're really taking this serious eh? I dunno.

How would we go at it anyway?

If you needed voice talent I'm sure I could help.

I sometimes impersonate General Pepper in Adventures when he says "General Pepper heeere". :P

I can't do charasmatic voices. I've got a deep, boaring, evil tone that sets of drum kits, that all I can do.

T-Boo, it wouldn't be that much of a problem. If you wanted to play Slippy, just don't use Mario's accent, unless we decide to make Slippy Italian decent.

Any of you guys sound like Falco?
