DZComposer
No. We already had one major genre shift in the series and I think it did more harm than good. Now, I wouldn't mind seeing SF characters/vehicles in a general Nintendo character fighting game. (which exists )

Ever played a game called Smash Bros? It's pretty much what you're describing, only with a lot let blood and evil.

Guest Chiro-Chan
A while ago, I concidered making some Guilty Gear style Star Fox sprites, but sadly, I can't sprite worth crap, so this never came to be. And yea, Super Smash Brothers fills all of my Star Fox fisticuff needs anyways. xD Nothing more fun than kicking back after a hard day, and beating the pulp out of people in Smash Brothers. xD
Guest krystal08
I'm not suprise!Because me to i won't play a game like that with SF juste because i don't really see and so violent and brutal!I juste pose this question in the first place to see if someone will say"yes".And like i was plan, nobody really wan't a game like that and me eitheir(ecept for mortal kombat but it's not the same). :krystal:
PuffNStuff
I wouldn't mind a flash game like that, all bloody like (thats just me though lol). Although it wouldn't prove any good in a full fledged wii game
Four-eyed Vulpine
I've thought about a "Star Fox-exclusive" fighting game, actually. Of course, without the horrendous volumes of blood and gore. With the Smash Bros. controversy about the Star Fox characters being clones of each other, this concept would have the chance to really give the combatants personality and character through their unique movesets. As far as genre swaps go, let me put it this way. Mario has done EVERYTHING.

Four-eyed Vulpine
Speaking of which, since he is actually supposed to be a plumber, has he EVER done any plumbing in ANY game?
Mr. Krystal
Speaking of which, since he is actually supposed to be a plumber, has he EVER done any plumbing in ANY game? Yes. Mario Bros. Also, Star Fox isn't a mercenary team, it's a inter-planetary, government sponsored special-ops team. Samus isn't a bounty hunter, she's an intergalactic exterminator. Mario spends most of his time as a search and rescue one-man team.
Guest krystal08
wo... you know your games man more than me at least but i think samus is a prime hunter no???? -_-

Samus isn't a bounty hunter, she's an intergalactic exterminator. Depends on how you define them. In terms of fighting games, I think Starfox would be more suited to an alien storm or Streets of Rage style game to be honest. Both plot and character wise. It could make better use of their individual skills. Wolf might enter a pit fight or 2, but that's a long shot.
ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987
Yes. Mario Bros. Also, Star Fox isn't a mercenary team, it's a inter-planetary, government sponsored special-ops team. I always thought Star Fox was part of the Cornerian army anyway, but then I read the plot for Star Fox 64, then I found out they were a lone squadron. Although, yeah, the team still has a strong connection to the Cornerian government. The Arwings, Landmasters, and Blue Marine were all built by Cornerian Weapons and Development. In other words, Star Fox is a furry, futuristic G.I. Joe parody.

Actually, Arwings, the Great Fox, and other tech were originally manufactured as custom, prototype vehicles by the renowned Space Dynamics Co. PuffNStuff
On a slightly (thats a big slightly might I add.) different note, they should make a Starfox RPG. One like MASS EFFECT. If you played then you would think "Perfect...." Cause it just would suit the story! I am serious it would! If you havent played mass effect cause u dont have a 360... WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU? Guest krystal08
i don't play mass effect because i don't have a 360/xbox/ps3/ps2 because i like more the old consoles/cars/house(#@$?&?$#@ computer)...and because i'm not the type to sell my things just because a new version have arrive!!! Sabre
I don't have a 360, I'm waiting for the superior PC version anyway. I thought about getting a 360, but all the games I want minus dead rising and Dino Crisis 3 are coming to PC. Usually with better control too. I really fancy mass effect, though I have never played it, it sounds like my perfect game. I'd play a starfox RPG provided it was good and didn't fall into JRPG territory. PuffNStuff
Well if you want a multirace game that invovles the poilitics of all these races, then yes Mass Effect is ur game. It reminded me of Command. Thats why if they should create a SF rpg it should be like Mass Effect
Sabre
Plus, there's the action... I think a SF spin off (whether or not it has the SF team) would work really well as a vehicle heavy FPS/action game. Add in coop... Imagine Roaring through the various SF planets ina armoured battle jeep before disembaricing to destroy an enemy air base, then making your escape as SF fly over head. Awesome.
