If just about everybody in the Star Fox universe is a humanoid animal, do you think it's possible for them to have pets? Well, as evident in Star Fox Adventures, certain places in the Lylat System have non-anthropomorphic bats and fish. Krystal kinda cared about Kyte the Cloudrunner as if he was her pet, but in reality they were just very good friends. Tricky, back when he was working with Fox, you probably already know it, but Tricky acted like he was a small dog of some sort. He even had a small spiked collar with him all the time. Maybe Star Fox characters, for pets, they'd usually have small, alien sort of creatures that are very similar to modern day pets, like lizards, dogs, birds. You know how there's weird 'make believe' animals here, like gryphons, and Jersey Devils, ect. ect.? I decided to use those as the animals of Lylat. Same with a few made up ones, like a while ago, I drew this really crappy picture of what a Pukpuk bird might look like, but I lost it, and it was really bad... Here Falco!" *Fox throws the rod past him* Fox: "Go fetch, boy! Go on, go get it!" *whistles* *Falco walks down the hall, grabs the rod off the floor, and comes back* Fox: "Yeah, that's a good boy, Fal--AHHHH!! OOH! ARWINGCOMMANDER 3987 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Share Posted February 20, 2008 Well, another idea would be, say, if the current Star Fox storyline was a little bit different, they could come up with something ridiculous like Krystal and her family live on Sauria, Sauria is also the same as Corneria but with a rather Aztec culture and environment, and most pets are dinosaurs. Krystal would probably end up with something funky like her pet at home being a small pterodactyl sort of bird, and she named it Kyte. Then over the years, Kyte grows larger, becomes an out-door pet, and Krystal sometimes goes for small rides with him. I have no idea where I came up with this one. EDIT: Another pet related thing in Star Fox would be....I don't know if even this would happen. Bill walks in and shows General Pepper a thermometer, and Pepper responds by hiding under the couch shouting "I don't wanna go to the vet!!" and sobs like a baby.
