Blink
SFO is kind of a ways down on my bookmark list since I usually visit AL, so I haven't swung by in a while. xD Just thought that since I saw the bookmark today (because I was looking for something to do, AL down and all) I'd check in with you guys. Quite literally, I'm checking in with you guys. What's happened at SFO in the past few months concerning Star Fox "in general"? Has Dwight recorded every byte of data in every game yet? Has anyone produced a SFO SF comic? Did we finally figure who it is on the SFAd poster?
Sabre
You can't call Dwight Dwight anymore, you have to call him Mr Krystal... or idiot boy as I do. Seriously though, he needs to take his real name of the internet to impress his future boss.
Blink
...and "Mr. Krystal" is more impressive? x_X; Okay then... has that been all that's really happened around here?
DZComposer
"What's happened at SFO in the past few months concerning Star Fox "in general"?" See the main site. We've been going through a slow time as of late, but it isn't too bad. "Has Dwight recorded every byte of data in every game yet?" Literally, no. I can't speak for him as to whether or not he has pulled out everything he intends to. "Did we finally figure who it is on the SFAd poster?" I remember that you were the one that figured that out. It was a pin-up calendar, remember?
Mr. Krystal
I'm changing my internet name (only in relation to Star Fox and Krystal) in order that my potential future employer will not Google my real name and pre-judge me by what he/she thinks furries are like. And let's not forget the potential conflict of interest of owning a news website while working within a secretive company on the thing I might be writing news about. My internet self in relation to other things will remain unchanged. It's not that I'm changing my name so much as I'm splitting my online persona. The poster, as far as we know, is a pin-up calendar that says "Foxy Ladies" and has a few X's and a heart shape. Here's a more recent capture using special settings and interpolation: I haven't ripped data yet. I'll be learning more about data compression and came coding stuff more next semester. I've already learned how a lot of graphics systems work, like real-time rendering and bilinear interpolation. Hopefully, I will have the skills soon to decode more interesting things. On the plus side, Nanogrrr recently managed to (mostly) rip the Krystal model from Assault: http://krystalarchive.com/3d/starfoxassaultmodel/ I've been offline for a month, so to speak, until I finished my math final, which I just did (and did excellently by the way). Now that summer's starting, SFO should be going through a few big changes: upgrades to software, server changes, new features, and hopefully lots of new members! Blink
Yeah, I didn't see much on the main site, so I asked here. xD And yes, I know the "Foxy Ladies" stuff, I discovered it. x_x; I was more asking if the vixen had a name or not, and it sounds like that has yet to be discovered. It was more rhetorical than anything though, just a Q to get things started. Anyways, good luck with all that Dw-err, Mr. K. I look forward to seeing the results.
