I have just defeated Emperor Anglar for the first time, with Leon! My favorite character!!!! It was a climatic battle, shooting the spiked balls, avoiding the big black bars and such, but I came through, and with lots of health left! It was awesome! And the phrase Leon said after winning was: "He was a stubborn foe, but I'm CRAZY!! So I won." He is so F-ing true! He's crazy, but sane!
