They have been coming.

And now they are here.

Here, in the last-ditch attempt to kick our butts.

But NO!  It is they who will be kicked!

It is they who will be kicked into OBLIVION!!

And we shall get the grades we deserve!!!

Alright, let's talk about finals.

I finished school and collage years ago. If anyone tell you that school is the best time of their life. Kick 'em in the balls for lying. :leon:

Well, college IS kind of fun.  But I hated high school.  Too many immature people.

In high school, I found all of my underclassman years to be better than senior year. (Which is odd)

I'll be finishin' my finals tomorrow. Whew...

Seems to me like Spring term in my neck of the woods went by quick, fast and in a hurry. Now, I must take one more summer term. :leon: And its half a term too! Whoop!

Good luck to those who have yet to take their finals! :D

College was bad for me. The main difference between college and school was at I was teaching the teachers at college, or should of been. The tutors were idiots. Watching an old man flirting with women less then half his age. Bleh. Worked for them though, they got good scores.

One even used to call me names, something I had never seen since primery school, and they expect you to take guidence from these people.

I could go on, but I won't.

I'm still a Sophomore in high school, and I agree, everyones immature. In my school, we take finals the last two days, but until then, it seems like the school year is just dragging itself out for too long.

Finals are different here, if you have perfect attendance and no F's, you get to skip finals. But Missouri State laws are doing away with that next year, and I will have to take them. But as of now, unless my grades take a sudden slip, I don't have to take finals.

^ Seems like you got the better bargain, even though its going to expire.

Back when I was in high school (Man that phrase alone makes me out to be an old fart :leon:) we had (and still do have) the FCAT. And if you passed the FCAT (Science portion) you automatically passed your science final exam. But wait, it got better. Depending on your score of 300, 400, or 500 (Max score you could get) you would earn an C, B, A respectively. Also, (here's the fun part) you have to take the final regardless of what you got on the FCAT. If you don't take the final you automatically failed the final exam. Sux, rite?

Wow, your schools have some strange finals policies.

Ours is like "Read the schedule, and take the finals at the right times and places."

Simple.

In England, you often have to takje the GCSE exam twice. The papers are different, but the reason being is that if you do it twice, your highest score is kept. So if you get a B then a F, the B stays.

People only redo if there is a reasonable chance to improve. So an A grade student wouldn't do it again.

Well, two exams today:  World Civilization and Statistics.

World Civilization:  120 minutes, 4 essay questions, 2 pages each.

Statistics:  120 minutes, 50 multiple choice questions.

Wish me luck!

Good luck, Four-eyed Vulpine!

I'm not especially looking forward to my exams this go around. I didn't do well enough in macroeconomics to merit exemption from that exam, my astronomy exam will be some kind of nightmare because my professor asks questions only tangentally related to the actual subject matter and it is scheduled at 7.30 in the morning ( :leon: ), and then there's my Greek exam. I will have to translate orally some passage from the play Alkestis by Euripides in front of my professor; I have no idea which passage she will select for the translation. Classics = not for the faint of heart. The kindest exam I shall have is international law, which will be a review of case studies and doctrines.

Phew...what a rough semester.

My Civilization professor graded my final really fast.  Grade:  94 = A  :leon:

And I thought the Statistics exam was pretty easy.  I'm confident that I did pretty well.

Next up:  Principles of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Take-home Final.  Due Tuesday morning at 10 CST.  88 hours remaining.  15 multiple choice, 4 definitions, 3 essays, and 1 bonus.

Wish me more luck!
