capt.bruney
hey,i gotta tell everyone this for the sake of irony. nintindo is of corse known for its great games like star fox.but sometimes they forget their own story lines and make charactors with the same name.let me explain. in the star fox saga, fox's dad, james mccloud, was killed by pigma and andross.(pigma betrayed james and led him to andross.) however, strangely enough, in the f zero race circuit, there is a human pilot that goes by the name james mccloud!and he dons the same kind of flight suit!did he shave and enter a racing circuit? :lol:if u guys find anything as ironic,id love to hear about it. Yeah, it was intentional. There's also a Mr. EAD, where EAD is the name of a development company owned by Nintendo. ROB the robot makes an appearance in Port Town. etc

Mr. Krystal
The company that designs and builds most of the F-Zero Machines is called Space Dynamics Inc., the same company that developed the Arwings and Great Fox.

DoctorAllosaurus
Here's another F-Zero one. In the anime and two GBA games there is this guy named Rick Wheeler: Now lets take a trip back to the 90's and meet Mike Jones (Not the Rapper) from a game called StarTropics: ... Look familiar? At first I thought this was a coincidence... that was until I actually watched the F-Zero anime and found out that Rick's enemy is Zoda, which also happens to be the name of Mike's enemy. Sabre
Not F-Zero related, but the first Metal Gear games were based on kyle reise from terminator.
DoctorAllosaurus
Metal Gear also had a cyborg named Arnold so thats two Terminator references. Speaking of Terminator the NES game Journey to Silius was supposed to be a Terminator game but they lost the license. Surprisingly enough though, the final boss just so happens to be a T-800. If anyone has ever played Road Avenger (Road Blaster in Europe) you'll find the very same car in the arcade version of Double Dragon (Its in the garage Billy and Jimmy come out of). Mr. Krystal
How do you know that ? F-Zero has that name in the descriptions of the race machines. The name appeared in the Official Nintendo Player's Guide for SF64, explaining that the Great Fox and Arwings were developed by them. Space Dynamics Inc. = Space Dynamics Inc. ROB the robot makes an appearance in Port Town. etc You forgot to mention that Mr. EAD's appearance was slightly based on Mario. There's even a Power Star lookalike on his belt. Another thing is that Mr. EAD's boss was a man named Shiggs Mapone (Parodying Shigeru Myomoto).

Thats impossible, F-Zero predates Star Fox by four years. You may not see Pico in game but the manual has a comic that depicted all the racers (The Falcon Flyer came from this comic too).
