Uh... guys. Krystal actually does have a last time... but it is not considered canon to all Nintendo audiences though.

Apparently, Nintendo France gave Krystal a full name for reasons unknown in their editions of the later StarFox games. The French consider the following name as canon to them: Krystal Buranetto

I don't have any official links to confirm this, but apparently you can still look at other sources like this one, this one, and this one.

Hope you brushed up your français!

Buranetto? 0_o

How did I miss that a month ago when it was posted.

Interestingly, a Google search for that name brings mostly Krystal related results.

I'm going to try to track down a french SFAd manual and see if it's in there. We shouldn't rush to calling it canon until we see it in a n official source.

I hate that last name. I hope to GOD it isn't cannon. Her last name needs to be Fox or something. (Maybe Nintendo didn't give her a last name so that she can take "McCloud" in the future too.)

Didn't you read anything above you? WE ARE NOT GOING TO START CALLING HER THAT UNTILL WE GET PROOF IT IS CANNON.

You can't just start calling her that, because that's what they are calling her in France. In Japan they call that blue robot Rockman, but in the good ole US of A we call him...

MEGAMAN

You see my point?

We use to call Mario mario  Jumpman..

And I don't see any point to yell about the fact that I accept her name is possibly some french word that could mean anything from Fox to Foxfire.

I didn't yell. I simply made my words bigger SO THAT YOU WOULD ACTUALLY NOTICE THEM, AND READ THEM. See? Got your attention didn't it?

Back on topic...

You can call her that if you want, but don't come on here saying, "Until further notice, this is going to be her last name." It sounds like you're trying to push your opinion on everybody.

By the way Jumpman isn't Mario. That's his grandfather.

No, Jumpman was Mario's original name.

Yeah, that right. You're right. I was thinking about the original Donkey Kong who is the current Donkey Kong's great grandfather. I was thinking it applied to Mario as well, but it doesn't.

Not sure if anyone touched on this, but Krystal "Buranetto" seems to be all the rage in Europe.

I say, give Krystal a last name when we actually LEARN something about her.

Uhhh... Mario's last name, is Mario. I don't know where Jumpman came from.

Mario's original name when he was first created was "Mr. Video game"... (original, huh?)

Nintendo changed the name to Mario, based off their landlord's name. (This was when Nintendo was still small and not rich)

Apparently, their landlord looked lot like "Mr. Video game", so they changed his name to...

Mario Mario.

Yup.

Yup.

Mr Video game is just Jupman's name in Japan. I know this for a fact.
