Kursed
Wha..? Are you saying that Nintendo of France confirmed Krystal's last name is Buranetto? No that's where the assumed source is from...

Kursed
I can't find that anywhere on Google. Can I get a link pl0x? <.< the only thing I can think of is buying the French manual and comparing it to the english one.
Zwolf
... It's not official. Obviously, different countries have different versions of the same game. In Japan, Brawl had the option of swapping move sets. In US, we don't. This applies to the fact that the French wanted Krystal to have a last name. We (Nintendo America) do not.

Zwolf
Definition of canon: Any material that is considered to be "genuine", or can be directly referenced as material produced by the original author or creator of a series. Official, and canon, are the same exact thing in this sense. Krystal does not have a last name, as of right now. we din't get all the comics of starfox Japan did. No relevance. Zwolf
You're missing the point completely, Kursed. Those comics are still CANON to us, in America, because they came from NINTENDO. In France, her last name did not come from NINTENDO. And don't even try to say that it did come from Nintendo, unless you have a source that proves it. ndf
the only thing I can think of is buying the French manual and comparing it to the english one. Eh.. Sorry, but you're gonna need more proof then just: "it might be in the French manual" to convince me that that's her last name..
Five5
The game don't show in any part that her last name is "Buranetto". Even in Nintendo site and magazines. So... This is not official. Just a rumor that frenchs created :panther:
Guest krystal08
well, for sure, its not in my manuals so... but,can we just say she don't have one!if she does,it would be less mysterious. Monospaced Text i like her mysterious! plus,it could mean things like she is in the familly of ....i don't even want to think

Mr. Krystal
No-one ever claimed that Buranetto was Krystal's last name. All that was claimed is that IN FRANCE, Krystal's official last name MIGHT be Buranetto. If the French game or manual or other official French resource says it is, then it truly is her last name, but only in France.
