What would you like in a future Star Fox?

To elaborate...

Style

Do you want another Zelda-esque Action-Adventure Star Fox?  Do you want the classic Star Fox style again?  Do you want something completely original?

Game Length

Short?  Long?  Somewhere in-between?

Enemies

Robotic?  Organic?  Mix?

Weapons

Pretty self explanatory

Health Meter

Bar?  Hearts/Fox Heads?  Something new?

Difficulty

Ridiculously Easy?  Rediculously Hard?  Right down the middle?  A 'let the player decide' kind of thing?

Anything else you can think of

What I would want is a long Action/Adventure game.  I would want to see a mix of robotic and organic enemies, and lots of different kinds of guns and other weaponry.  I wouldn't care what kind of health meter the game had, and I would want to be able to choose the difficulty like you can in Assault.  As for other things, I would want to see a multiplayer story mode, clever puzzle elements, and unique bosses that require some careful strategizing.

I would also like a starfox 64 style game mostly awring missions

I would like for a long game length

I would like wolf to wage war on corneria and assemble an army making him the main enemy.

weopons awrings landmasters blasters hand to hand combat

hard difficulty

I would like to have the ultimate starfox vs starwolf battle for the climax of the game!

I would also like to see Fox reunite with his father james!

Style

Arcade Space Shooter, with some ground missions, though the vast majority need to be Arwing missions.

Game Length

A moderately long plotline with adaptive events. What I mean by that is what you do during a mission affects what happens later and where you go next. But not to the point where it radically changes the story, like SFC did.

That provides replay value.

Enemies

I don't really so long as it isn't a blatant ripoff of something else. Would prefer it not be Andross, though that's minor.

Weapons

See SFAs.

Health Meter

Bar. It's the classic.

Difficulty

Adaptive Difficulty.  That keeps it fun. Of course an option to turn it off. Have an expert mode like SF64.

Anything else you can think of

Don't over-use the motion sensing of the Wiimote. Please.

I don't really care all that much as long as it has action and is fun. Also the ability to use MP characters in SP.

Man that won't do because than Fox has to destroy Wolf and then puff no more Wolf.

it would be better if someone wants to rule the lylat system Andross style and you can choose between Star Wolf or Star Fox to go on missions to stop the guy.

Style

Definitely classic Starfox style. Adventures was fun but a bit of a brave venture from Nintendo. It was a great game though.

If it was another portable game then I'd like to see the tactical map thing return and maybe elaborate on the online and add a few more modes to keep you occupied.

Game Length

The longer the better! I think the SF games can sometimes be a bit TOO short and leave you wanting more, so a nice long, thrilling storyline that ends epically would be awesome.

Enemies

I don't mind really. I'd like to see some robots I guess or more anthro characters to fight, maybe some sort of rebel army who has waged war.

Weapons

If there was on-foot missions I wouldn't really mind, there is already a great selection just refine the controls I guess.

Health Meter

A bar preferably, I don't really mind. But a bar is more suited to the genre than 'hearts'.

Difficulty

Varying difficulties, levels that leave you coming back for another try without being TOO hard or cheap. Maybe on harder difficulties there is more stuff to do and vice versa.

I was thinking of this as an interesting addition; You press a certain button, and one of your wingmen attacks the enemies/boss with you (This probably wouldn`t happen in the final boss fight). This would also only happen if you collect something like a heart icon, or a star icon. I got the idea from the missile strick command from Total Carnage. Think about it! Wouldn`t it be cool?!

i want a longer storyline, assault was only like what 10 levels, sure there unloackable stuff, but the main plot is very short

some more starwolf battles, some kinda storyline rthat has you fighting all the different main enemies who fought but liked teamed up, or a complete new villian, or even Scales again

Huh, Well, I was thinking of a fight against All of the Baddies - Wolf, Leon, Panther, Pigma, and Andrew in this full out war. Something like Halo, Red Steel, or Ghost Squad. I personally would Like a shooter, and maybe a new way to control the arwing. I know the Wii would do something with the Arwing's Barrel Roll Feature. But who knows?

I enjoyed playing as characters other than Fox in Command, so I wouldn't mind seeing the option to play as some of the other characters (including Star Wolf) in any title on the Wii. Also a two player co-op mode would be a lot of fun.

I'd also like to see a longer, more complex story (perhaps the kind where you can only get the whole picture by playing as every character, like in Sonic Adventure) and more levels with multiple routes (if not multiple endings), since, as much as I love Assault, the game was a bit short and a bit too linear really.

I'm not averse to missions on foot; in fact I'd like to see more of them. I do, of course, enjoy the Arwing missions, but running around and blasting enemies with all different kinds of weapon is a lot of fun too.

Finally, this is something I can take or leave, but I know a lot of gamers enjoy a cockpit view mode, so that might be a neat feature to add to this game (assuming it's being made).
