Yeah what is the deal with NMH? I might even give it a try because of the hype it got and its getting a sequel already. Well, that and Left 4 Dead.

I'm currently playing through Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles, and Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Once I'm done playing these, I'll have beaten everything I have.............. again.

Next three games to get when they come out will be Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Dead Space Extraction, and Resident Evil the Darkside Chronicles.

I have to admit, I've really been getting into survival horror games recently.

It's so different from other games, it's insane. In an amazing way! I mean, it is bloody and stuff, but HILARIOUS and totally random. Like, who came up with the name Travis Touchdown? xDD;; Plus, the artwork on the renders is great.

And yeah, I heard they're gonna have more assassins to compete against in the second one-- I think it was about 50 or something and you work your way up, plus every one is different. And Travis's friend at the video shop was murdered, so now he has more of a avenging-type thing instead of just trying to hook up. And he has some new beam katanas, too- and although he gained world status, he's still living in the souped up motel, lol.

A Genius that's who. :P Oh that's what that weapon's called? It just looked like a fluorescent light bulb to me. Yeah, I may try it. After Left 4 Dead.

@ Star Fox Runner OMG, I can't wait for Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles too! However, I don't like the shakey camera movement. It's gonna make me sick. I also might try out Silent Hill for Wii. Since its a remake of the first. SurviHorror's been stepping up lately.

Currently, I'm playing Samurai Shodown and Resident Evil 5.

Silent Hill isn't due until like November. Soooooo, plenty of time to save up to rent or buy at least! :D

If you still live with your parents, you guys should do what I do to get money, pocket the spillover cash your parents give you when they send you out to get stuff.   (well, it works for me cuz' my parents let me do it. lol)

When it comes to horror games, I've been wondering something about myself. When it comes to games with the extreme gore factor, the gore doesn't bother me at all, is it bad that I don't mind something that violent?

^Yeah, I used to do that when I was living at home with my Mom. Now, I can't. I'm on my oooooooooown. (Happy about that though.) Whatever I make from my college disbursement, I just spend some save some, until I can find a new job up in this beezy. :x Where are you at in RE:UC? Now, I feel like playing it over again. LOL.

The gore don't bother me none either, its the sudden surprises or the "jump factor" as I like to call it that make me hesitant to get SurviHorrors. I hate when that crap happens. Especially when I'm playing by myself. I get super paranoid and then I don't play it again until the sun comes up. About the violence, it shouldn't be a factor as long as you don't try to imitate what they are doing. I like a little blood too every now and then. :P

About to play Battlefield: 1943 in a few, but I may wait a little bit.

Lucky, out on your own, Sol...I still live at home past adulthood like a @#$%...I'll probably die in my parents house, age 30, alone/dateless, broke, and my game controller frozen in a permanent death grip in my hands, as I'm in front of my video game....or death by my own hand, hanging myself by my controller cord ;)

:( Nooooo don't say that. Things will change Julius. I may be happy on my own but I do get a lil homesick. Thoughts of moving back slowly haunt me but I shrug it off somehow. Besides the way this economy is, a lot of people are moving back with their parents.

I'm playing Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles thanks to SFR. :P

:D MY friend lent me his GH3 with his DLC from his computer!  It has most of the songs on my favorites, on Youtube, and some others from my iPod!  IT'S SO FREAKING COOL!!! I keep playing "Insense" by I, Deviant on my PS3.

(My fingers are kind of sore from the weird buttons, how they sink in when you press them... rather use the Rock Band controllers than GH's.)

Thanks, Sol...problem is, I wish I had moved out at least once, even if it meant moving back in [10 years later], but I never even got to move out...sucks...

Downfall:

Can NOT play GH games with a Rock Band's conroller

Upfall:

CAN play Rock Band games with a GH controller

^ (I hate the downfall )

Where are you at in RE:UC? Now, I feel like playing it over again. LOL.

I'm currently at the last Wesker level in the story "Umbrella's End" I'm stuck fighting Sergei, that boss is freaky! I've unlocked every level except the mission where you get to play as HUNK. After I beat this, I will be eagerly anticipating Darkside Chronicles.

About the violence, it shouldn't be a factor as long as you don't try to imitate what they are doing. I like a little blood too every now and then. :P

The way I see it now, the sad, horrible truth is that the human race has found death and dismemberment entertaining since the dawn of time. In truth, the good thing about these ultra-violent games is that they have replaced people gathering in arenas to watch people kill each other or get eaten by lions, and gathering in town squares to watch someone get hanged. With games, there still is barbarism, without the actual death part.

^Ain't it funny how Human nature seems to repeat itself time and time again?

Sergei? Anti-Tank Gun. It solves everything. And if you miss well you got your RPG type gun/Magnum. (Because trust me, I missed.)

Whut? You didn't get HUNK's mission? Get it. Its so boss. Especially with all that cross talk.

Random Woman:"No don't leave me, I don't wanna die."

HUNK:"This is war. Survival is your responsibility."

Bad-assery at its best.

Remember when I said I was going to go beat Sergei? Well, its been a few days, BUT I DID IT! I also beat HUNK's mission and unlocked that freaky target practice game.

....................now to wait for Darkside Chronicles..................... crap.

Wind Waker FTW! ;D

I played a lot of Brawl yesterday and kicked my brother's ass using Wolf. Teehee. Also, I played through a bit through the middle of Silent Hill at my neighbors (just 10 minutes or so), but soon her dad shooed me away because it's rated M. I tried explaining that I often play M rated games and that they don't normally bother me, but he said that I'd have to wait 'till I was 18. >.>

But looking back at what  got to do, Silent Hill is the BEST survival horror game EVER. I am not kidding. It is AMAZING- in fact, it was so amazing I almost peed myself, even though I only played for 10 minutes. Seriously, I NEED Shattered Memories. And from what I heard, it's awesome too.

I've never played Silent Hill, but the remake of Resident Evil for the GameCube managed to put the scare into me a few times, you should try that if you ever ge the chance, seeing how they ported it to the Wii now.

...I'm starting to take back what I said about trading my 360.  I might just keep it for awhile.

Well... err... Still playing BF, and occassionally switching to GTA... which are the two main games I play for my PS3 lol

Dude, I totally need to try out Resident Evil! :P So they sell a Wii version, kinda like with Twilight Princess?

About my sudden hype over Silent Hill, it's that...it's not just creepy monsters holding bludgening weapons jumping from windows so you can shoot them, it's actually makes you feel a psychological sense of uneasiness and fear. I swear, even though it was just the Playstation version, it was incredible.

Yeah, its marketed under Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil. The controls are kinda jacked up at first but once you get used to them, its pretty simple. Word to the wise, Resident Evil Zero, 1, 2, and 3 are TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY different from 4 and 5.

Zero through 3 are more exploration and puzzle based where the guns are purely for defensive purposes, while 4 and 5 are straight-up horror shooters with puzzle elements thrown in, but both styles are excellent nonetheless. 1 and 4 have been ported to the Wii, with Zero coming to the Wii next year. I recommend giving either 1 or 4 a try, or even both if you want two different experiences.
