Vy'drach
What? Not like I've run out and buy it. Gotta wait for some of my friends to try it and tell me if it's like Modern Failure 2, or more like World at War, which, while still having a few obvious inaccuracies (go go sound suppressing flash hiders and 9mm being more powerful than a .45), was still fun and enjoyable, and for the most part lacked a "Jesus gun." evilwaffles
Call of Duty isn't a simulator, it shouldn't be 100% realistic, I know MW2 had some annoying features like noob tubes but if that is enough to call it a failure, then we may as well call Fallout: New Vegas Fallout: New Failure because of the amount of bugs, but the game is still funto play. Anyway I think this game is actually better than Modern Warfare 2. Treyarch have redeemed themselves for World at War with this installment. Vy'drach
Never said it needs to be a 100% sim, and there's a big difference between a glitchy single-player game and the idiocy that went on behind Modern Failure 2. Also, I actually expected Fallout to be glitchier, some of the glitches can really mess with your game (such as, don't upgrade your companions health, almost always it doesn't work right, and with Rex, it actually makes him exceedingly weak), but I was actually expecting more of them. Nothing in it is really game-breaking for me, but commando and commando pro, cold-blooded, the M16/FAMAS, the shotguns period (each one has a colossal flaw), the PP-2000, the maps (especially the maps), the respawns, and other stuff just killed Modern Failure 2. Just about everything about that game had me asking, "Since when did this ever seem like a good idea, or even make sense?"I tried very hard to like Modern Failure 2, but it was boring in the extreme (mostly due to the maps), and just full of so much crap it was ridiculous. And contrary to how most people try to defend that game, it wasn't just because "I suck at it," as I hit max rank in three days, which isn't hard to do when you go somewhere along the lines of 30-40 to 10 per round. LoneWolf
If you're looking for a 100% sim, look for Ghost Recon for the PC.
Vy'drach
As I've said, I am not looking for a sim, but I am expecting something to be plausible, especially after Infinity Ward said that Modern Failure 2 was going to be more realistic than Modern Warfare. If I want to play something really realistic, I play Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, what with the 7.62x51mm NATO being a 1-hit kill, the 5.56x45mm NATO taking several rounds, and grenades that aren't magnetic to the players. Where they bounce is pretty much where they land. Oh, and every gun in Black Hawk Down has bullet drop, and claymores don't have obvious red lasers, nor do they take forever to detonate, you step in front of that 8.5"x 4.8" OD green box (which can be concealed so evilly in rubble), and you die. No "*click*..... boom," just "boom." Only thing not realistic about it is the inability to aim down the iron sights with the belt-fed machine guns, or the sidearms. Oh, and if you hate the "noob tubes" of Call of Duty, you'd despise the ones in Black Hawk Down, as they have the accurate 40 foot kill radius, are accurate out to 300 meters, and the force of them going by you can kill you, assuming it whizzes inches by your head (which happens more often than you think). Vy'drach
Can the back-blast kill the person behind you?Don't remember if the back-blast killed anyone on the AT-4, I hardly ever went Support (was usually a sniper with the PSG-1), and when I did go support, I rarely pulled out the AT-4. The maps on BHD are massive, so you rarely had anyone standing behind someone else, that was grounds for giving an enemy a double or triple kill, which were rare, and e-peen in/deflating.As for what I'm playing, after hearing a few things about Black Ops from some friends of mine that also hate Modern Failure 2, and hearing that most of the gayness of MF2 was removed, I went and got it, and found a little treasure. They have the Polish wz/63, probably one of the most awesome, worst weapons ever made. It is literally a "machine pistol," the case is ejected by the slide... sliding back, and the iron sights are on the side. It is near impossible to aim down the sights and fire this thing, as the iron sights constantly move. I have always wanted one of these to be in a game, and it is. It is so hilarious. Also heard from a friend that the SPAS 12 is actually semi-automatic, and that there is a PSG-1. Overall though, I'm enjoying single player on it, mostly due to Veteran actually being hard on it compared to what I remember of the other ones.I foresee nothing but gayness from that crossbow in multiplayer however... but who cares about one thing. Vy'drach
Got my hands on the SPAS-12 in Black Ops, and I am pleased. Only things that are wrong with it is the reload animation (Can't pump it when it's on semi-auto, and there would be no reason to if you don't empty the gun), the stock being up (games need to stop doing that, cool as it looks), and that the NPC that gives it to you pronounces it as "spaz," as in a spaz attack. Just about everyone I know refuses it to call it the "spaz" 12, and pronounces it with the same sound you get when you saw, "awww." But that's just me being nitpicky, and there is no official pronunciation, and I am pleased with how it works.

ndf
Waiting for Super Meat Boy to come out on WiiWare. Pisses me off. When they first announced it, they were pushing it as a WiiWare exclusive. Then they announce they're porting it over to Xbox and PC. Then they release it for Xbox first. Then they delay it for Wii.Also on my queue: Shantae Risky's Revenge, Goldeneye, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Super Scribblenauts and Donkey Kong Country Returns. Might wait for the holidays because I've been spending a bunch of money on crappy Mega64 merchandise... but god I love that show.
