CloudRunnerLX Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 ZOMG STARFOX WII!!! Basically it's a mock magazine cover for the Official Nintendo Magazine in the UK. Every month on the forum they start a thread up which allows users to create their own mock covers for the magazine based on a Wii or DS game be it upcoming or fictional. I usually enter each month and had two of my covers printed so far and I've got high hopes for this one. I love how it turned out and how I did the typography. I made the Starfox Wii bit look like a fox tail unintentionally, it's really cool The artwork is for Assault but I'd never seen it before and thought it'd look great on a cover so I made it straight away. (Thats good btw) To finish, I think you should add a little text about whats also in the issue (if it were real of course) review of TS4 or something. Question- How are the compoates done like that? Over some of the logo, but behind other bits? I became interested in this since I saw a number of supreme commander covers where they used a render of the UEF commander. I was thinking of doing that but it was around 1am and I thought it might ruin it, but I might have to take influence from their own covers if I'm going to do that.
