On Arwing Landing, someone posted up this, and there's a bit of it on Star Fox. Here's a bit from the post:

Star Fox

Most people didn't notice it, but Star Fox Wii is actually in development. Yes, you heard me right. My sources, you ask? Right here. "Miyamoto revela que j? est? fazendo os primeiros testes e estudos para levar Star Fox, a famosa s?rie de naves espaciais, ao Wii". Oh, don't worry, my portuguese is flawless (some of you know, I'm brazilian), and I can translate it for you: "Miyamoto reveals he's leading the first tests to bring Star Fox, the famous flight series, to the Wii." This is from almost one year ago, so Star Fox may be ready to be revealed. Hell yeah.

I'm a bit skeptical about this, personally, but you never know...

As much as I want to believe in that, I'm gonna wait for an official announcement.

Through my experiences I have learned never to trust articles about games unless its from an official source, so I would wait until E3 before starting up the hype bandwagon.

I've heard that before. However, games can be "in development" for more than 10 years without a single visible demo. The Miis as we know them today were essentially created for the original Game Boy, but never released. Nevertheless, the chances of a new SF game being announced are pretty high.

I say medium-high chance of a Star Fox announcement.

There are things that have happened to indicate that it may come, but nothing solid.

Plus, there is a problem with that statement: Miyamoto doesn't work like that. He doesn't go "I want to create a [insert Series Here] game!" He comes up with an idea, usually vague, gives it to his team, and then a game and series is fit to it. Numerous interviews have stated that.

Though Miyamoto has shown interest in a flying game for Wii, so maybe....

We'll probley get Super Mario Pilot if that's the case. Maybe a return to pilotwings?
