It's capable of warp travel, so no telling it's truly top speed. However, in atmosphere, it's top speed is Mach 4.2.

I assume that's Earth 1G with earth air?

Though Corneria is slightly larger than Earth, it's gravity is equal to that of Earth's (1G), which means that it must have a gaseous core or something. Anyway, I would also assume that that measurement was for 1 Atmosphere, which is a more relevant term, since Arwings have G-Diffusers.

According to SSBM, the Arwing kind of related to an F-Zero racer. So regarding max speed, the best guess is around 1000 to 1500 mph.

They were both built by the same fictional company, Space Dynamics Co. However, the SF64 Arwings were capable of exactly Mach 4.2 in atmosphere (or 3197.06961 miles per hour). These stats were present in the Official Nintendo Power Player's Guide.

Some sources named it "Arspace Dynamics." Aren't contradictions great?

That was the company's name back during the original Star Fox, remember the storyline was completely revamped for Star Fox 64. Beltino Toad once worked at Space Dynamics as the Director of Engineering before becoming the Cornerian Army Research Director. He helped develop the Arwing and Landmaster.
