I'm very confident, Nintendo said they were releasing something for every key franchise, and Star Fox is a key franchise isn't it?

I'm not getting my hopes up just in case there's some disappointment this year. However that would be awesome!

I'd wager that if anything SF related is demonstrated at E3, its release date will be set for 2009.

Watch it be a Wii-Ware title...

I'm expecting Star Fox on E3 this year but I don't think we're going to see much.

I think there is a chance, I mean, Nintendo even said that the Wii Remote is perfect for a Star Fox game.

I`m quite confident. From I`ve noticed, Star Fox has a medium but very passionate following. That`s always a good sign.

I'm not sure. I'm just going to wait and see. If there is a mention, then yay, but if not, oh well.

If it turned up at E3 tommorow, but something tells me it's too early for a new Starfox game because Command came out in 06 (I think) and it's not really considered a main franchise like Mario and Zelda.

I'd pee myself it does but at the moment I don't think they've got it on the cards.

Miyamoto said when the Wii was announced that it would be an interesting prospect though so he could've been working on it behind the scenes for years for all we know.

Nintendo has already announced an new Wiimote accessory. It will allow for 1 to 1 accuracy (where you move, it moves, exactly). It's called the Wii MotionPlus.

As of writing this post, Nintendo's E3 conference starts in roughly 15 minutes!

I knew it was coming. I didn't get my hopes up. It still sucks though. All they did was talk about the Nintendo DS... disappointing. :D

But we get GTA DS. Yay!

Also no Conduit. Boo!

I hate GTA. It's a disgrace to the video game industry in my opinion.

I guess Nintendo didn't want to get people's hopes up. They did say that their core teams are hard at work on the next big games, but perhaps they weren't far enough along to have anything to show. Has anyone actually confirmed that SF Wii isn't at the show? I mean, Star Fox Command showed up with no announcements at Nintendo's booth.

Exactly. Half of the big games such as Wario Land, NiGHTs, Sonic Unleashed etc weren't announced at E3. It's merely a place to talk about what's going on with your company at the moment with maybe one or two select announcements if you're lucky.

AC looks great regardless.

I knew it wouldn't be announced this year anyway.

In development by the Mario and Zelda people? They said they're working on other games behind the scenes.
