Battleship
This is starting to become a Mac vs Windows argument. I like Macs, but lets get back on subject before someone gets their feelings hurt. I agree. PuffNStuff, don't start anything anymore please. Battleship
*Emo card played = Win by default?* Farther off topic? Anyway, looks like PK just found a suitable 3D modeler. Not sure if this is the only one they'll need. Just check the forums.
Mr. Krystal
Guys, there are lots of freelance 3D artists I could refer you to, but they would cost ya.
Battleship
Are they willing to pay? It's a fan project so I doubt it.
PuffNStuff
Of course freelances would do stuff like that. But what they ARE looking for are people that play on source and develop maps for playing online. From custom models, to maps that just plain exploit the physics of the game (surf maps). IDK how to model at all when it comes to games. But I am sure that if someone could go on the games and recruit someone by finding out who made the maps. Then I could see it happen. Also, they have custom skins availible for the game. If you are looking for modelers, then why doesnt someone just go to the sites where they have custom stuff for CS or source. That wiould be the EASIEST way to recruit ,odelers and map developers. Go to the SOURCE and find them.
Sabre
I was hoping it would be single player, not an online game. Bah.
Battleship
I was hoping it would be single player, not an online game. Bah. They said something about no multiplayer. But when the game is released, it may be added.
Mr. Krystal
The teaser trailer was just released late last night at the KA, SFO, and their own website, kursed-game.net. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_19LdNDiEBM Kursed-Game.net Krystal Archive Starfox-Online Remember, it's a TEASER trailer, so no gameplay, unfortunately. It shows off some of the voice acting and music.

ndf
Nothing important. <.< >.> You're the voice actor, aren't you? Lol j/k But dang, it looks pretty sweet. Are they having someone compose the music for them or are they just takin' other songs?
Sabre
Voice acting is good, but with no new content shown in the trailer, I'm still sceptical. I expect it to live up to the standard set by Get a Life. A great SP HL2 mod. Personally, I want to see what the baddies and weapons will be. As for the release date, you'd be wise to expect years. The SP mod Jurassic Life was first annonced in 2006, and it still being developed.

Their own composer. The soundtrack is almost done. All very epic.

Sabre
Why be skeptical? Because within certain circles, eg. The starfox fans, we will be subjected to a barrage of "bestest fing evar" with extra random caps. Being part of the mod scene myself, and given that HL2 is probley the most popular modable game, I have seen many mods promise so much, only to die or fall flat on their faces. The reason for this is most mods start off with a couple of people having a great idea, or at least a great sounding one. They will then set to work learning the ins and outs of all the required elements. Then, after a while, they reach the so called 'hump'. This usually happens about 40%-60% of the way through. Passion wanes, team members leave, and the mod dies. Sometimes a demo is released so incomplete it makes you wonder why they bothered. If this trap is not fallen into, there is every chance it is released and is crap, or so novel that the game quickly becomes tiresome. This is not to say it will never be good, far from it. However, you should understand the idea of reality and the posability that this might not be so good. One early warning sign is that they are only taking on experienced team members. They fail to relise that any suitably established talent will most likely be working on their own projects. Next I expect them to have problems relating to school work. ndf
Who cares if it's delayed? Who cares if it's good? I didn't spend any time on it, I'll just play it when it comes out for fun. Star Fox games are too rare to pass up, even if they're fan made. And if you don't like reading people compliment their work, don't read the comments.
Aleks55
Pig is right, since nintendo hasnt really done anything with starfox yet, let the fans decide, id donwload and play the fan games anyway

It's not the fruits of my labor, I'm getting a free game. If it sucks, I've lost nothing. But if it's good, great!
