Falcory
it reflects their hit range, for example, slippy vsĀ falco, both on them in an arwing would result on falco having the upper hand since he has more skills with the arwing, thus, he has a bigger hit range. GOD! You're the first person to actually admit that. Everybody else just thinks Falco is "Okay" in an Arwing....

Zero Flare
I thought Assault was a brilliant game but the story mode was a bit too short. The main meat of the game was the multi-player and it's still fun to play. If only my disc would work in my Wii... Also, my Krystal-Use % is 100%, and I win a lot! :x

EvolutionSFox
Mine's like 98% Krystal, 1% Fox and 1% Wolf. I used Fox first, then Wolf when I first got him. Krystal after destroying my friends with Wolf, but I ended up still beating them.Ā

Black-Cat
Falco - 100%. Winner, every single time. But on the thing of Assault being rushed or not-- yeah. It was rushed. The plot could have been a helluva lot better if they just made it, I don't know, seven or so missions longer. Maybe even ten. It would have been better if they went into detail about the Aparoids and if it was actually a "virus" and headed into that field. Like how StarFox really is, science fiction. But oh well. Asper Sarnoff
Around 85 % percent Wolf, rest is Slippy, with a percent each for the others. Wolf may be slightly overpowered, but I try to correct that by offering my gaming companions handicaps. I must say I found assault rushed, the single player mode was way to short, and the ground missions were all basicaly the same. Other things that annoy me: On foot the characters feel very stiff, and they turn around so incredibly slow. And the aircrafts are slow, I know it would be more difficult if they moved much faster. But an arwing that only moves slightly faster than running pace?
Sabre
I think it had more to do with them running at light speed. I half exect wille to be putting out explosive birdseed.
ThePointingMan
So, I figure, since they are making new play controls on game cube games for the wii... They may as well remake assault and add that LAN thing they ran outa time for.Anyways, i usually use peppy and fox. I dunno i don't use them cause of there skills, just because i like fox and i like peppy (Although i hate the line do a barrel roll because it is way over used, i prefer something like, "arr! drop the crane now!" or "Sorry to jet, but I'm in a hurry.)The main disappointment for me, is when i got every gold mettle, i was expecting to unlock something sweet, but i didn't get anything, and then i found out that you had to beat the silver meddle stages to get xevious, even if you beat it on gold .one final note, waaay back there someone said the game should be more halo-ized and one of the things he put up was that the grenades should be useful, THOSE GRENADES ARE AWESOME!!!!! Also i don't like halo that much.

Guest FoXXX
personaly i think after ages of playin starfox assault and after playin all other sf game in the series id say......it was the weaker one in the series.....maybe it was rushed when everyone complained about sf adventures sayin they wanted an "arcade starfox" all the land based misions were desighned around the idea for multiplayer...and that left only 3 on the rails missions for single players....i disliked the fact they did that....sure it maybe great multiplayer....and if they had online play it would have been worth it...but otherwise the best way to sum up assault is simple....it had potentiol...it had brilliant design and stunning music....but why wasnt it what we all asked for?what they should have done is make it 15 missions...(5 more on the rails missions) then allow you to play as different characters in the single player....that would at least be better than those "secret flags"again this is my opinion...i dont wana get into any arguments here... good, bad? and if bad how could they have improved?I think Assault would have been more of a success if they had made it where you can change paths to the final boss, and more rail missions
Rik McCloud
I wouldn't say the game was rushed. It was first shown at E3 in 2003 looking like an N64 game. They had over two years to sort it out which is more than enough time. It felt like as if it was a side project of Namco's whilst they worked on titles they actually cared about. Also, didn't Nintendo allow people to rent this two weeks before it went on general sale by which time people had completed all of the missions, seen what they wanted and some didn't bother buying the game which hurt sales badly.Just seemed like nobody was that bothered with Assault. It's all there in terms of features but it feels half hearted in my view.

Fox-Shot
I'd say though still good, it needed more time to "cook".Ā On foot works just fine for me, it has a Red Faction II "run and gun" feel with daul stick mode.Ā I would've liked to see the 1st person perspective option actually being carried over.Ā It also needed more missions in a non-linear way and bots in multiplayer, because I get owned in it just because I can't practice the more complex multiplayer strategies. SPEAKERnight.
It was a good game overall, just a few of the aspects of the game could have been better if more time was put into it. I think it was rushed a little.
Geo Stelar
It had a very large potential to be the best Star Fox, but they should've worked at it a little more, to add a variety of gameplay. Even though we would have waited a little or much longer, it would be worth it. It felt a bit rushed.
